Customer Care Representative I - Lenexa, KS Demonstrates skill and passion to deliver an exceptional and consistent customer experience of a routine complexity, while utilizing multiple customer communication channels, which may include voice, mail, email, chat, AI related inquiries, etc. Start date: August 17th Training: Must be able to attend training onsite for 5 weeks in Renner Blvd. Lenexa, KS. Schedule is Monday- Friday, 7:00AM - 4:00PM Central. Work Schedule: Remote, Monday - Friday, 9:30AM - 6:00PM Central. Pay Range: $17.25 - $19 per hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. Successful candidates may be eligible to receive annual performance bonus compensation. Responsibilities • Supports assigned client group(s) performing routine complexity health related customer excellence activities. • Typically makes routine outbound, health related customer calls following set scripts, procedures. • Maintains complete customer/patient confidentiality for all health, personal and other customer information. • Provides professional, respectful, customer excellence. Demonstrates caring and empathy when delivering sensitive health information. • Effectively respond to all customer inquiries received by various digital methods including telephone, fax, email chat regarding reporting of patient results, inquiries of tests and services, concerns of service failures and other duties needed to provide superior service. • Supports all client group(s) based on business needs. Qualifications Required Work Experience: • 1-year related customer service excellence experience. Preferred Work Experience: • Health care and laboratory related experience. • Experience delivering customer service excellence and achieving productivity/accuracy/quality standards. Physical and Mental Requirements: • Consistent exceptional customer service, accuracy and quality focus required. This hybrid position is primarily responsible for maintaining shop cleanliness, washing and preparing vehicles, and assisting technicians and staff with general shop tasks. A smaller but important portion of the role involves supporting the parts department by checking in incoming parts, verifying accuracy and quality, and organizing parts for efficient workflow. This position is ideal for someone who is detail ? oriented, dependable, and comfortable working in a fast ? paced automotive environment. While prior experience is helpful, we are willing to train the right candidate who brings a strong work ethic and a positive attitude. Body Shop Porter Duties • Wash, vacuum, and detail customer vehicles before and after repairs • Thoroughly check that all blends are properly buffed • Confirm all lights and blinkers work correctly • Deliver vehicles for work to be completed by outside vendors and retrieve when completed • May pick up from or deliver parts to outside vendors. • Assist with customer vehicle drop ? off and pick ? up when required • Effectively communicate with techs on what was done • Move vehicles in and out of the shop, parking areas, and staging zones • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the shop, bays, and common areas • Empty trash, sweep floors, and assist with general facility upkeep • Support technicians by delivering tools, supplies, or materials as needed • Perform basic lot organization, including parking and tagging vehicles Parts Inventory Assistant Duties • Receive and check in incoming parts deliveries • Verify part numbers, quantities, and accuracy against repair orders • Inspect parts for damage, defects, or quality issues • Label, store, and organize parts in designated areas • Communicate discrepancies or damaged parts to the Estimator. • Assist with maintaining a clean and organized parts storage area • Help track parts status and ensure technicians receive correct components Qualifications • A team player focused on providing exemplary customer service. • Previous experience in a Body Shop environment is desired. • Able to stand or walk on hard surfaces for the majority of shift in all types of weather while exposed to elevated noise, vibration, and chemicals. Must be able to stoop, bend, and twist on a daily basis. • Ability to perform in a physical position (please review physical requirements below). • Able to safely operate a wide variety of cars, trucks, SUVs, and vans, including both automatic and manual transmissions. • Strong attention to detail, especially when verifying parts • Have a valid driver's license. • Pass a motor vehicle report and possess a safe driving record. • Pass a criminal background check and drug test. • Also subject to random drug testing, reasonable suspicion drug and alcohol testing, and post-accident testing at the company's request. Physical Demands and Working Environment The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to work standing up, walk, use hands and fingers to operate tools and equipment, and speak and listen, both over the phone and in person to customers and fellow employees, in order to perform the above listed duties. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to work in a seated position, climb or balance and taste or smell. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 75-100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. This position is primarily a shop based, hands on role that will require computer work, attention to detail and physical labor. Team Members regularly works 45-50 hours per week. While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles and chemicals. Frequently exposed to risk of electrical shock and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, outside weather conditions and combustibles. Fast paced working environment. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
