Remote Medical Support Assistant Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently recruiting remote medical support assistants (medical receptionist) to support the Sheridan VA Medical Center located at 1898 Fort Road, Sheridan, WY 82801. This is a remote position; however, candidates must be willing and able to work onsite if required. Working hours are Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm (8-hour shifts within this window). Responsibilities • Scheduling appointments • Coordinating veteran care with community providers. • Communicating with internal providers regarding VA community care processes. • Validating and updating patient demographic information. • Processing health records into CPRS and VISTA systems. • Managing community care consults via HSRM and PPMS. • Handling phone calls and inquiries professionally. • Using Microsoft Office tools and VA systems daily. • Performing pre- and post-appointment tasks. • Supporting patient aligned care teams. • Monitoring and reporting VetLink kiosk performance. • Ensuring compliance with HIPAA, VA privacy, and security standards. • Participating in team huddles and maintaining workflow efficiency. • Completing mandatory and remedial training. • Maintaining infection control compliance (e.g., TB testing, immunizations). • Responding to security incidents and cooperating with investigations. • Managing records per VA and federal guidelines. Qualifications • Citizen of the United States of America. • High school diploma or GED. • Must live within 50 miles of the facility • Ability to speak clearly, hear and write English. • Utilize computer programs appropriately, usually involving spreadsheets, word processing, etc.; log in; type 50 wpm with minimum errors. • No health restrictions affecting job performance. • Basic medical terminology • Minimum 6 months of customer service experience. • No sponsorship available All candidates must be able to: • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist • Lift up to 20 lbs • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, disability, or status as a protected veteran.

This is a high production role with required metrics. Position Summary: The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) will provide processing and communication of Commercial Prior Authorizations (PA) reviewed by the Commercial PA team for Pharmacy benefits. Reporting to the Pharmacy Operations Manager, working with physician office staff and customer service, admissions, and pharmacy operations departments to communicate referral status. You will also oversee fax processing and providing telephone call assistance for prescriber office staff, pharmacies and members based on program criteria. Responsibilities include answering inbound phone calls, processing cases, loading authorizations, and making follow-up phone calls. Maintaining complete and accurate, documentation of all necessary information is necessary and will involve computer system data entry, data management, and reporting. Duties: • Review criteria-based prior authorizations following policy and procedure • Provide internal nurse support to the PA team and member services department Refer cases not meeting clinical criteria to the Pharmacist and MD team(s). • Shift priorities while exhibiting a high level of urgency with all calls and assignments. • Work with pharmacists, other clinical colleagues, healthcare professionals, and members. • Follow all prior authorization procedures to guarantee an accurate process on each prior authorization. • Complete other PA assignments as delegated by the PA leadership team. • Utilization of clinical skills to support the documentation and communication of medical services and prior authorization determinations • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and effectively adapt to a fast-paced changing environment • This position involves sedentary work with periods of sitting, talking, listening. • Work requires sitting for extended periods, talking on the telephone, and typing on the computer. • Position requires proficiency with computer skills which include navigating multiple systems and keyboarding • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal • Must have regular and predictable attendance • Performs and handles inbound and outbound phone calls with technicians, prior authorization team members, physicians, healthcare providers, and/or patients to facilitate prior authorization requests, answer inquiries, and/or resolve calls with a one call solution. • Performs other related projects and duties as assigned, including attending training sessions and development meetings. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors.
