About this role As a Product Training Specialist, you will be responsible for providing training and support to develop and grow Carrier distribution throughout North America. This position will require travel (1-2 weeks a month) to Carrier Distributors to educate their employees and customers on the design, installation, and maintenance of the i-Vu® solutions we offer. There will also be training that is conducted at the Training Center in Kennesaw, GA for the Carrier channel. The ideal candidate will be located in Kennesaw, GA ,but this position can be located anywhere in the United States. Key Responsibilities • Perform training for various levels of users, installers, and engineers of Carrier's i-Vu® control system, hardware, and software. • Create an open learning atmosphere for students of all HVAC, DDC, and energy management levels • Comprehend and develop task-based exercises around highly technical content Basic Qualifications • High School or GED • 3+ years of experience in presenting, educating, or training in a technical industry or 3+ year's of experience with Carrier i-Vu, Automated Logic WebCTRL, or other control systems, • 1 week travel per month within the United States • Valid Driver License Preferred Qualifications • Training experience in HVAC, Building Automation Systems, or DDC (Direct Digital Controls) field • Understand the equipment used in a control system i.e., Hardware, Networks and Software and comfortable with technical subject matter • Understand mechanical, electrical, and lighting systems that commercial controls would interact with • Demonstrated experience in hosting complex learning solutions • English written and verbal communication skills • Spanish or French will be an advantage • Professionalism and credibility • Problem-solving and business acumen skills • Consulting capability with solid interpersonal, presentation and facilitation skills • Coaching and mentoring others and challenge/influence peers and customers • Understand instructional design theories, methodologies and best practices; i.e., interactive teaching methods and speak proficiently to an audience • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, SharePoint) • Project management skills and deadline orientated • Utilize Learning Management Systems (LMS) for eLearning distribution • Carrier i-Vu® or Automated Logic WebCTRL® product specific knowledge and application knowledge • Ability to take lessons and show a "real world" correlation to the task and be hands-on Pay Range The annual salary for this position is between $79,000.00 - $158,000.00 annually. Factors which may affect pay within this range include, but are not limited to, skills, education, experience, and other unique qualifications of the successful candidate. Other Compensation This position may be entitled to short-term cash incentives, subject to plan requirements. Remote Safety Observer-Patient Attendant Safety Aide Float Pool 3-12 hour shifts per week 7:00pm-7:30am Location: 14 Moore Drive, Durham NC 27713. Perform work under the supervision of a registered nurse, or virtual registered nurse, the remote safety observer will virtually maintain constant direct observation and visualization of the identified patient(s). Duties and Responsibilities of this Level: • Constant and direct observation of the patient virtually using approved telehealth technology. • Virtually monitoring changes in the patient's physical, emotional, and mental condition. • Communicate the status of the patient, including any changes, to bedside nursing team and virtual nursing team. • Observing and reporting patients' behavioral changes. • Document observation in electronic health record. • Escalate unsafe events via alarm or redirections. • Monitoring of patients in seclusion and/or restraint. • Collaboration with bedside staff and virtual nursing staff on patient's safety plan of care. • Participate in review of activities and processes for work area; assist in implementing changes to effect continual improvement in services provided; comply with regulatory and legal requirements. • Perform other related duties incidental to the work described herein. • Find and order RSO carts if needed. • Make assignments to each work station every shift. • Take handoff from bedside nursing staff on what to observe and share with assigned RSO for viewing. • Help bedside team with setting up carts, troubleshooting audio/video issues, and discontinuing carts. Required Qualifications at this Level Education: Work requires completion of a high school diploma or equivalent. Experience: In-Patient Hospital experience preferred. Enrollment in nursing or medical programs strongly preferred. Degrees, Licensure, and/or Certification: Listing on the Nurse Aid Registry of North Carolina preferred. If a hire does not meet this requirement, they must start the process to complete one of the requirements within 1 year of employment and complete within 2 years. BLS certification must be maintained/completed by the end of new hire orientation, which typically takes place during the first week of employment. CPI certification strongly preferred.
