Retail Analyst

Job description

To support retail technology initiatives, the remote Retail Analyst will analyze business needs across POS, ecommerce, and payments systems, develop structured documentation, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions.Key ResponsibilitiesAnalyze business needs and translate operational challenges into actionable requirements across retail technology systemsDevelop comprehensive Business Requirements Documents (BRDs) and maintain detailed documentation of system behavior and configurationsCollaborate with various teams to support issue analysis, system enhancements, and user acceptance testing (UAT)Required QualificationsBachelor's degree in Information Systems, Business, Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)2+ years of experience in business analysis, systems analysis, or retail technology environmentsStrong experience writing structured documentation such as BRDs and functional specificationsAnalytical mindset with the ability to break down complex systems and workflowsAbility to operate effectively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
