Job description
To support the financial operations of a healthcare organization, the full-time remote Cash Poster II will manage payment postings, resolve discrepancies, and ensure accurate account handling while collaborating with various teams.Key responsibilitiesPost payments to patient accounts and balance payments to deposits using electronic and manual systemsResearch and validate payment postings, making necessary adjustments and following up on missing informationAssist teammates with complex issues and escalate trends to leadership while meeting productivity and quality goalsRequired qualificationsHigh School diploma or equivalentMinimum of one (1) year of full cycle medical billing experienceAt least six (6) months in a healthcare Cash Posting roleKnowledge of CPT, ICD-10, and modifiersExperience with insurance claim appeals and electronic remittances
