Role Summary of a Staffing Assistant: The Staffing Assistant is responsible for performing a variety of administrative duties to support the branch in their daily recruiting and customer service activities. This position is an excellent opportunity to get started in recruiting and staffing industry! Your Opportunity: • Greet walk-in candidates and serve as the first point of contact in the branch • Receive and screen visitors and telephone calls and handle general inquiries • Assist with the onboarding process and new-hire orientations to provide support to the customer success team • Provide support to the recruiting team as needed to ensure applicants complete all facets of the application process • Coordinate, complete, and scan documents in support of workers compensation claims • Process and update payroll records • Document unemployment terms and details in CRM • Create, process, and file all purchase orders and invoices for the branch • Order supplies based on assessment of needs and budget resources • Other duties as assigned Your Attributes: • 2+ years of administrative experience in a busy office environment • Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to react appropriately in stressful situations and deal with difficult customer or vendor situations diplomatically • Able to switch tasks throughout the day, prioritize and manage repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment • Strong communication skills at all levels • Demonstrable time management and organization skills • Practical experience and comfort with using Microsoft Office products Employbridge offers a competitive base salary plus monthly bonus potential! Your Responsibilities • Verify, inspect, receive, and store material in organized manner • Package, label and warehouse items • Process and kit items as needed • Operate forklift to move heavy items to their required destination, as needed • Perform cycle counts and ensure all items are accounted for and reported timely & accurately • Report abnormalities, reconcile differences and notify others of discrepancies for corrections in the ERP system. What We're Looking For • Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a similar role • Prior experience in manufacturing environment • High School diploma or equivalent • Associate or bachelor's degree preferred • Ability to lift, push and pull up to 50lbs within 8-hour shift. • Ability to operate forklift, drive truck, and pull goose neck trailer. • Experience in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel • Highly motivated individual with the ability to work independently • Clearly able to communicate across departments within the organization • Meticulous attention to detail • Excellent communication skills internally and externally • Proficiency in Syteline, or similar ERP systems. Have basic understanding of the operations of the air compressor. Keep hand tools in good working order and clean and maintain working area. Maintain ISO standards. Operate a forklift if applicable.
