The role extends a professional welcome, assists with paperwork, and guides patients to the appropriate departments. Responsibilities • Extends a professional welcome to all patients and visitors, providing information on services and procedures. • Serves as the first point of contact for patients and visitors, caters to general patient interactions, assisting with check-in and check-out, ensuring a smooth and efficient registration process. • Guides patients to appropriate departments, clinics, or service areas. • Keeps patients and families updated about wait times, physician availability, and procedural delays. • Assists patients in completing paperwork, including consent forms, intake forms, and insurance documentation. • Addresses general patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints with empathy and escalates complex or urgent matters to experience specialist II. • Offers guidance on charges, payment processes, insurance procedures, and provides non-medical information to patients if needed. • Supports in maintaining latest patient records in the EMR system, ensuring data accuracy. • Answers incoming calls, providing basic information and forwarding calls to the concerned department. • Ensures all patient interactions and data handling comply with confidentiality regulations and UPH standards. • Participates in training programs to stay updated on best practices in patient care and healthcare regulations. Qualifications Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required. Experience: Previous customer service experience in hospital or healthcare setting preferred. Other: Patient confidentiality and sensitivity to visit conditions and treatment required.

Facilities Technician Who We Are: At Farm Bureau, pride is part of who we are. It's there in our customer service, in our relationships, and you'll see it where we work. Our expectations are clear, and we are looking for someone who can step up and be a part of a seasoned group of people who take pride in their performance and have a sense of value and worth at the end of the day. What You'll Do: As a Facilities Technician, you will perform work order requests and preventive maintenance work orders. You will also assist with special event setups and open and close conference room doors. During the winter months, your assistance is key in assisting the grounds crew with snow removal as needed, including running snow blowers and associated equipment. As a Facilities Technician, you will also perform routine maintenance on, but not limited to, our HVAC, Plumbing and electrical systems, and operate the Fire Alarm, HVAC control and chiller systems. No two days are the same, so a "will-do" attitude is key. Typical hours will be 8:00am - 4:30pm Monday-Friday, but you will be on call 24/7 every 4 weeks (Monday - Sunday) on a call rotation with maintenance crew. There is a possibility for some overtime hours. What It Takes to Join Our Team: High school diploma or equivalent plus HVAC experience preferred. Must have or be willing to achieve a current First Class engineering license. Must have or be willing to achieve BOMA certification (SMT or higher designation). Must keep up-to-date regarding city, state and federal regulations and building codes. Utilize hand tools and simple power tools such as torches, drills, and test equipment.
