Chick-fil-A - Inventory & Operations Team Member The Inventory & Operations Team Member plays a vital role in keeping our restaurant running smoothly. This position is responsible for unloading and organizing deliveries, properly storing food and supplies, and maintaining accurate inventory levels. After inventory duties are complete, the team member will transition to operational responsibilities in either the kitchen or front-of-house to ensure exceptional guest experiences and smooth daily operations. Responsibilities: • Safely unload and check in delivery trucks according to Chick-fil-A guidelines. • Verify delivery accuracy against invoices and report discrepancies to leadership. • Properly rotate stock (FIFO method) and ensure all items are stored in designated areas. • Maintain cleanliness and organization of storage areas, coolers, and freezers. • Assist with weekly inventory counts and maintain accurate stock levels. • Support back-of-house or front-of-house operations once inventory tasks are complete (examples: preparing food, assembling orders, running orders to guests, restocking stations). • Follow all food safety and quality control standards. • Communicate effectively with team members and leaders to ensure smooth shifts. Qualifications: • Must be able to lift 1050 lbs. repeatedly and work in cold/freezer environments. • Ability to work early mornings on truck delivery days. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Reliable, punctual, and a team-oriented attitude. • Previous food service or stocking experience is a plus, but not required. Back of House Team Member Responsibilities: • Prepare, cook, assemble, and present food safely, quickly and efficiently, meeting Chick-fil-A standards • Be knowledgeable of the assignments for all kitchen stations, including fries, breading, assembling, boards, and food prep • Stock kitchen inventory as needed • Keep the kitchen neat, clean and orderly at all times • Keep up-to-date with new products rolled out by Chick-fil-A • Work safely around kitchen equipment and report any maintenance issues to Leadership • Maintain personal knowledge by completing in-house training and stay up-to-date on any changes • Complete all opening or closing tasks as assigned • Adhere to Chick-fil-A rules and dress code at all times • Other duties as assigned Location: Chick-fil-A Midtown Work schedule: • 8 hour shift • Weekend availability Benefits: • Flexible schedule • Paid time off • Health insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • 401(k) • Employee discount
