This position is responsible for loading, transporting and delivering propane to our residential and commercial customers using a bobtail truck (3,000 - 5,000 gallon capacity). A Class A or B CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements is required for this role. This position also requires excellent communication skills, a positive attitude in the face of challenges, and the ability to execute on identified solutions. Above all else, personal safety and the safety of our customers must take on the highest priority. Delivery Driver The primary function of a delivery driver is to safely and efficiently operate a commercial motor vehicle in compliance with company policies along with Federal and State regulations and delivers all freight undamaged. Warehouse/Delivery Under the direction of the Warehouse Manager or Lead Warehouseman, lifts, stores, loads and transports materials, catering supplies and equipment by hand or using industrial trucks, pallet jacks and two-wheeled dollies. Completes deliveries and pickups in a timely manner. Performs all duties efficiently and within established warehouse schedules and timelines. Accepts and verifies incoming shipments of materials and supplies into the Central Warehouse as directed. Fills requests for warehoused materials and supplies on work orders and requisitions promptly and accurately following established procedures. Works quickly and efficiently to pull orders timely. Completes appropriate paperwork accurately on receipt, issue, inventory, movement and storage of all materials and supplies. Assists with assuring that all chemicals received, stored and shipped from the Warehouse are properly packaged and labeled. Helps maintain location and identification system for warehouse inventory; reports problems or updates to Warehouse Lead. Assists with physical inventory duties of warehouse supplies and materials as directed. Assures that security and cleanliness of the warehouse is maintained at all times. Keeps warehouse lead informed of any and all information pertaining to the operations or needs of the warehouse facility. Follows all safety procedures and practices as set forth by the district.
