Job Description Registration Representatives are accountable for directing patients and visitors; collecting monies due for co-pays. Excellent customer service skills are a must. Representatives must have the ability to properly collect, enter and/or accurately update financial and demographic information into a computer; maintain patient confidentiality; provide clear and concise information to those who request it; be able to handle multiple tasks at one time; and be detail oriented. The position tends to be fast-paced at times. Representatives are responsible for greeting patients and assuring all guests entering the lobby areas have purpose to be in the facility. Individuals must be physically capable to transport patients and their luggage.
