Full Time Days Schedule: Monday - Friday | 8:00am - 5:00pm Job Summary: Provides support for outpatient behavioral healthcare practices while demonstrating excellent customer service. Maintains regulatory compliance by coordinating with internal and external customers (clinicians, patients, patient family members, vendors, visitors, colleagues, etc.) in order to process assigned patient support services including patient appointments, prescription requests, office visits, phone calls, letters, and communication documentation. Minimum Education: High school diploma or GED required. At least 1 year healthcare related education preferred, medical assistant program, psychology courses, etc. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: 1 year related experience. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Effective interpersonal, written and oral communications. Demonstrated patient care skills. Demonstrated PC skills. Effective organization of multi-task role. Understanding of healthcare delivery processes in the medical office. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: Greets and engages patients and visitors according to established protocols, demonstrating excellent customer service in every interaction. Communicates schedule and clinical information to patients, co-workers, and clinical staff as needed and appropriate. Assists in coordination of care through messages, faxes, phone calls, emails, etc. for communication to providers, patients, pharmacies, and other healthcare resources.
