Shift: Day Shift (specific hours may vary) What You'll Do: As a Receiving Team Member, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the seamless flow of goods, contributing directly to our company's success. Your responsibilities will include: • Receiving deliveries and efficiently breaking down and sorting pallets. • Stocking shelves, cutting box-tops, and rotating stock to maintain organization. • Picking bulk orders and ensuring the stocking area, tags, and location stickers are well-maintained. • Loading and unloading trucks safely and efficiently. • Partnering with the warehouse team and following supervisor direction to maximize efficiency. • Safely and competently operating a forklift, including all required technology, and any other materials handling equipment in the warehouse. • Performing all tasks safely, to the best of your ability, and in a timely manner. Who We're Looking For: We're seeking a dedicated and organized individual ready to thrive in our dynamic environment. Required Skills & Abilities: • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Ability to read, write, and comprehend the English language. • Understanding of and ability to follow warehouse practices and procedures. • Must be able to pass a drug screen and criminal background check. • Physically able to access all areas of the warehouse. • Open to receiving on-the-job training by supervisory personnel. • Must be able to report to work on time and ready to work, as well as be available for overtime when requested. Education & Experience: • High School Diploma or equivalent is required. • 1 year of experience doing similar work is preferred. Physical Demands of the Role: This role involves consistent physical activity in a distribution environment. You should be comfortable with: • Lifting and transporting a minimum of 30 lbs. consistently and up to 70 lbs. intermittently. • Stooping, twisting, bending, squatting, kneeling, and reaching at, below, or above the shoulder. • Walking and standing on concrete floors for up to 12 or more hours per day. • Maintaining performance in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting established distribution quotas and standards. • Tolerating temperatures ranging from (-) 20 degrees in the freezer to 115 degrees in the truck van.
