Description The Barback supports bartenders and bar operations by maintaining inventory levels, ensuring cleanliness and organization of the bar area, and assisting with beverage service preparation. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Assist bartenders with daily operations by preparing ingredients, replenishing ice, restocking beverages, and retrieving supplies as needed. Maintain adequate inventory of liquor, beer, wine, mixers, garnishes, glassware, napkins, straws, and other bar supplies throughout service. Monitor stock levels and communicate inventory needs to management in a timely manner. Change beer kegs and assist with receiving, organizing, and storing inventory deliveries. Prepare garnishes, polish glassware, and support beverage preparation as directed. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous barback, food and beverage, or hospitality experience preferred. Basic knowledge of bar equipment, beverage service, and inventory practices is preferred. Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
