Patient Services Representative Airway Heights, WA Patient Service Representative (PSR) Camas Health Recovery Center Baseline Pay Rate: $23/hr. Camas Health Recovery Center is seeking a Patient Service Representative (PSR) who is eager to support their clinic located in Airway Heights, WA. The Patient Service Representative provides the first impression of the clinic to the public and is responsible for maintaining a welcoming and functioning front desk. Performs multiple office functions including reception (greeting and welcoming clients and members of the public), answering multi-phone line, medical record keeping, computer related tasks, and other administrative duties. The Patient Service Representative will report directly to the Front Office Supervisor. The Patient Service Representative should adhere to and value the philosophical priorities of the HARM Reduction Model, that Medication Assisted Treatment is the preferred method of addressing opioid addiction and that every patient deserves to be treated with respect, compassion and dignity. Responsibilities: • Greet clients, visitors and vendors • Answer phones • Page medical providers and counselors • Facilitate patient flow • Answer inquiries from patients and the public • Conflict resolution with clients • Monitor patient behavior and activity; collaborate with Safety Officer as needed • Regular interaction with a wide variety of ethnic, socioeconomic and cultural backgrounds • Regularly use the agency electronic medical records system to schedule appointments, provide schedule reminders to patients, indicate patient attendance • Collect patient fees • Take and upload patient photos into the electronic medical record • Copy forms and documents as needed • Route incoming mail and faxes • Maintain the patient waiting areas to ensure cleanliness and adequate supply stock • Maintain regular communication and attends meetings as requested • Complies with other ad hoc requests and projects as assigned • Knowledge and compliance with HIPAA policies and procedures • Interacts with all staff in a positive and motivational fashion supporting the company's mission and Best Practice Patient Experience • Available for coverage as needed during extended hours including nights and weekends Position Requirements: Education : • High school diploma or equivalent required. • Associate's or higher degree preferred. Experience : • At least two years of experience in reception or in a position providing customer service, preferably in a medical or mental health setting required. • Opioid Treatment Program experience will be given hiring preference. Other Requirements • Obtain and maintain a Level 3 Kalispel Tribe of Indians Work Permit. • Nights, weekends, and holidays may be required. Physical Requirements : • The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential duties and responsibilities of this job: • A majority of the work shift is sitting at a desk in front of a computer. • Will spend some time on feet while filing, making photocopies or standing to greet a visitor. • Should have the ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. as may be responsible for moving office supplies or carrying heavy files or boxes of paper. Additional: • The nature of this position is fast-paced in high-stress situations and conditions • Computer literate, with basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and electronic medical records systems, as well as a high level of initiative in keeping current with technological change • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with staff, clients, and outside contacts from a wide variety of ethnic, socioeconomic, and cultural backgrounds; good diplomatic skills, including strong conflict-resolution skills • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Conducts all business activities in a professional and ethical manner • No history of alcohol or other drug misuse for 3 years prior to employment and does not display evidence of alcohol or other drugs while employed as the Patient Service Rep • Must be able to pass required background checks • Complies with and up-to-date with all other testing, screening and credentialing as required • Ability to travel as needed (minimal) CONFLICT OF INTEREST: All employees shall refrain from any private business or activity, which might cause their personal interest to conflict with or affect the impartial discharge of their duties to the Camas Health Recovery Center. Job Title: Northern Quest RV Resort Front Desk Clerk Facilitate guests checking in and out of the Northern Quest RV Resort and all activities relating to guest reservations. Achieve results in accordance with the objectives, performance and quality standards established by Northern QuestResort and Casino. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Ensures compliance with the Kalispel Tribe of Indians- Internal Controls, and Northern Quest Resort and Casino Policies and Procedures. • Maintains a positive upbeat attitude, being highly "in tune" to guest questions and needs. Works to ensure that guest inquiries, concerns, or complaints are properly handled. Anticipates the guest's needs. • Work with the RV property software to maintain up-to-the-minute accurate reservation information on all guests. • Check guests in and out of resort using the RV Resort's property software. • Record and verify accuracy of guest reservations pertaining to billing, credit card transactions, and guest accounts. • Record guest information accurately and prevent the creation of duplicate profiles. • Obtains any information necessary to assist the guest quickly, accurately, and pleasantly. • Accept and accurately process guest credit card information, tournament registration and gift card purchases. • Greet, register, assign sites, cottage, and golf carts, and provide keys to guests. • Create and confirm all reservations including RV resort, golf cart, hotel, restaurant, transportation, or entertainment reservations, and arrangements for tours. • Answer all telephones within three rings. • Answer guest inquiries pertaining to the resort, hotel and casino, businesses owned/operated by the Kalispel Tribe, and local area information. • Work in conjunction with Site and Setup and Cottage Attendants to create a seamless guest experience. • Up sell guest on cottages, sites, services, and amenities. • Posts charges such as site or cottage, food, liquor, or telephone, to ledger. • Responsible for maintaining accurate cash handling and balancing bank at end of shift. • Have knowledge of the Camas Club and its policies and procedures. • Provide anticipatory service in a thoughtful and intuitive way, notating special requests made by guests. • Exhibit a genuine sense of interest and concern for the guest. • Presents a friendly, professional non-rushed approach both in person and while answering phones. • Provide exceptional service to customers and employees when performing job duties. • Conduct oneself in a professional and businesslike manner to reflect Northern Quest's high standard of excellence. • Works as a team with other associates to maintain the highest service standards available. • Use proper interpersonal skills when engaging with customers and employees. • Share information with other departments to facilitate their successful performance. • Ensure guest confidentiality standards are followed. • Have knowledge of all resort emergency procedures. • Comply with resort safety and Loss Control Procedures. • Ensure control/protection of company assets. • Responsible for maintaining regular attendance and punctuality. • Maintain 10/10/10 service standards. • Fulfill any reasonable work requested by a Manager or Supervisor, completing accurately and in a timely manner. • Fill in for any duties in the resort as needed, including but not limited to the following: housekeeping, site and setup, hotel reservations, hotel front desk, and light maintenance. • Duties, responsibilities, requirements, and expectations pertaining to this job are subject to change as needed. • May be required to be a panelist for the Internal Review Hearings. • This job description does not list all of the duties of this position.
