Source 1 - Advanced Material Handler - 2nd ShiftThe Advanced Material Handler (Source 1) is responsible for operating order pickers and standard forklifts to support shipping, receiving, and production activities. This position involves accurately picking, moving, and organizing materials, including heavy and oversized items, while working at elevated heights within a warehouse or dock environment. This role requires maintaining efficiency, accuracy, and adherence to company procedures in a fast-paced setting.Key ResponsibilitiesOperate order pickers, standard forklifts, and pallet jacks to accurately pick, transport, and stage materialsEfficiently load, unload, and sort palletized and non-palletized freightUse handheld scanning devices to track inventory and shipmentsSecure freight inside trailers using proper tools and techniquesHandle heavy materials, including coils, equipment, and large componentsWork in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to company policiesMaintain productivity and accuracy while working at heightsQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required1+ years of experience operating forklifts or material handling equipment in a manufacturing, warehouse, or distribution environment preferredExperience in shipping, receiving, and/or production material movement preferredExperience handling heavy materials (e.g., coils, dies, large equipment) strongly preferredBasic computer skills, including experience with handheld scanners or inventory systemsAbility to read and understand work instructions, safety rules, and shipping documentsComfortable working at heights while using fall protection equipmentMust be able to work in a non-climate-controlled environment and adapt to varying temperaturesAbility to lift and move heavy materials and perform physical tasks as requiredStrong commitment to safety and adherence to company safety policiesAdditional InformationIndefinite U.S. work authorized individuals only. USAGPAN provides specialized training in field anesthesia to ensure that our graduates are qualified to deploy in times of war, civil disorder, natural disasters or for humanitarian missions. The USAGPAN program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). Students selected are commissioned as an Active-duty Officer and receive full pay and allowances commensurate with their rank assigned during the entire program. Applicants must have at least one year of Critical Care Nursing experience, BSN or MSN with minimum GPA of 3.0 from an NLN CNEA, CCNE, or ACEN accredited program, and possess a current unencumbered RN license.
