This is a first shift position (7:30 am – 4:00 pm), with mandatory OT including weekends as needed along with the potential for second shift on occasion. This position will primarily be based at Solar's Broken Arrow facility. The successful candidate will have a safety-oriented mindset.Principal AccountabilitiesPrincipal accountabilities may include but are not limited to the following:Receive, sort, store, issue, stage, move, dispatch and ship materials, parts, tools, assemblies in and out of Solar facilities, as assigned.Operate any material moving equipment to move materials, parts and/or tooling.Plan and execute the methods necessary for loading and unloading all types of vehicles used in the transportation of receiving and shipping material.Contribute to daily responsibilities regarding safety in the work area.Perform all the assigned duties necessary to maintain the shipping and receiving areas throughout Solar, also keeping the work area in a clean environment.Perform all assigned duties necessary related to building crates and packaging parts for transportation.Communicate well with team members.Minimum QualificationsExperience working in a warehouse environmentHigh School Diploma, GED or equivalent6+ months experience using a forkliftExperience using hand toolsAble to build shipping crates to dimensions providedBasic computer skillsSummary Pay Range$24.00 - $36.00Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Routes vary in number of pick-ups and deliveries, but expectations are a driver will routinely perform up to 150 stops a day • Perform daily inspection of vehicle including checking fluid levels • Loading vehicle for deliveries and organizing daily loads • Work independently and as part of a team • Provide exceptional customer service and maintain appropriate communication with manager • Accurately operate scanner/effectively track delivery process • Accurate disposition of package delivery and pickups is a must and critical to our integrity. • Consistently deliver entire route in a timely manner Benefits: • PTO • Paid training • Attendance and safety incentives Paid training will be provided that covers delivery/route procedures, standard equipment operations, customer service skills, and driver safety.
