Preferred Qualifications: • Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. • Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills. • Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred. • Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment. • Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through. Field Installation Specialist Manage all field issues, installation training, and warranty programs Essential Functions Develop and conduct installation training programs both on site and in classroom settings. Modify and update installation manuals as necessary to maintain current information. Visit assigned job sites to ensure products are installed properly and in accordance with installation manuals. Train job site personnel to properly install IMPs as needed.
