As the Dispatcher you will support the Dispatch Supervisor in achieving all fleet and dispatch office needs. Responsible for sure creating and managing routes, ensuring Drivers complete necessary paperwork, and promote safe driving habits. In this position you will represent U.S. AutoForce when interacting with customers and other internal teams. Schedule is Monday-Friday 6am-2:30pm (or until work is completed) along with rotating Saturdays. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs and may require overtime.Job ResponsibilitiesEnsure drivers complete all required daily paperwork: Driver logs, pre and post-trip inspections, and fuel receipts.Ensure drivers are completing customer returns within 3 days of creationAssist with will-call customersAssist with reviewing Samsara driving alertsTrack drivers on Elite and close out all routes and open orders dailyTrain drivers on PIV, tablet, and safety expectations (may be involved in road tests)Complete all routing requests before scheduled cut-off timesBackup for Dispatch Supervisor and ECommAssign lines to be pulled by material handlers for will-call and metro routesAnswering phone calls in a professional and timely mannerCommunicates effectively with call center, sales, customers, drivers and other locationsSpot check trucks for cleanliness and compliance, assist drivers when a breakdown occursBackup driver, order pulling, operate power equipment as neededPromote and maintain a safe working environment for all team membersThe duties listed in this job description are not exhaustive.
