Receiver/StockerAs a Receiver/Stocker, you help keep the store clean, safe, and ready for customers by accurately receiving freight, stocking shelves, and organizing merchandise and top stock. You'll unload deliveries, handle equipment and hazardous materials safely, and make sure your area is prepped for daily success. This role is physical and fast-paced, requiring safe lifting practices and attention to detail. You'll spend most of your shift on your feet, working mornings, afternoons, evenings, or overnight depending on store needs. You may be working in both inside and outside weather conditions. Exposure to varying climates, including extreme heat or cold, wet, damp, humid, windy, or drafty conditions, is possible. You may be exposed to constant or intermittent noises in addition to moving or shaking objects and equipment. Lifting methods vary based on role, weight, and volume. Associates must follow guidelines, limiting single lifts to 75 pounds. Team lifts are used minimally starting at 75 pounds or when needed. Material Handler I - 1st ShiftUnder general supervision, counts, examines, weighs, and checks incoming materials and supplies. Pulls material from stock in preparation for fabrication. Puts material away or delivers to requestor. This position is a broad-based title encompassing multiple departments within the manufacturing facility.Moves materials to and from loading docks, delivery trucks, storage areas, and manufacturing areas by hand or with available material handling equipment (MHE) such as hand truck, pallet jack, cart, forklift, or hydraulic lift. Performs and reports cycle counts. Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock by recording location of inventory in warehouse/on the shelves. Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies. Operates forklifts, hand tools, and other equipment to move freight and material. Ensure all items are secured on pallets that are placed on racks. Keep work areas, warehouse, storage areas, and all equipment clean, neat, and orderly.
