Warehouse Part Time Overnight

UPS is seeking Package Delivery Drivers to safely operate delivery trucks and deliver packages to residential and commercial customers on an assigned route. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading packages, following a scheduled delivery route, operating a UPS delivery vehicle, and providing excellent customer service during deliveries and pickups. Drivers must be comfortable driving a delivery truck, and some locations may require the ability to drive a manual transmission delivery vehicle. This position requires passing a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical exam and maintaining a valid driver's license with a clean driving record in accordance with UPS and DOT regulations. This position typically pays $45 per hour or more for full-time UPS package delivery drivers, with additional overtime pay available during peak seasons.Drivers are responsible for meeting daily delivery quotas, using handheld scanners to track and confirm deliveries, following all UPS safety procedures, lifting and carrying packages, and maintaining a professional appearance while representing UPS. Drivers must follow company guidelines regarding safe driving practices, package handling procedures, delivery confirmation procedures, and customer interaction standards.Full-time UPS employees may be eligible for benefits including medical, dental, and vision insurance, pension plan, 401(k), paid vacation, paid holidays, overtime opportunities, and union-negotiated wage increases. Education and Experience: • High School or equivalent experience, food safety training. • Over three years up to five years of similar or related work experience. Supervisory Responsibilities (Direct Reports): Instructs, assigns, reviews and plans work of others. Maintains standards, coordinates activities, and allocates personnel. Has the authority to recommend employee transfer, discharge, and salary increases. Physical Requirements: Must be physically able to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally; exert up to 50 pounds of force frequently; and exert up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Visual requirements include vision from less than 20 inches to more than 20 feet with or without correction, depth perception, color vision (ability to identify and distinguish colors), and field of vision. Must be able to perform the following physical activities: Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motions.
