Logistics Coordinator - Transportation

Logistics Coordinator The Logistics Coordinator provides overall direction throughout the Dedicated Fleet operation and provides operational assistance to the Project Manager wherever needed. Responsibilities include maintaining positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers, providing constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal and external, performing load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using both Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources, coordinating daily data entry into NFI's proprietary order-management-system, TMW, coordinating with home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices, ensuring accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks, providing weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external parties, coordinating daily on scheduling truck and trailer maintenance, working with safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance and HOS issues, assisting Project Manager with implementing NFI's Safety, Security and Labor policies, assisting and providing coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary, managing and maintaining driver payroll, auditing and approving driver expense reports, and providing assistance to Project Manager wherever needed. Qualifications include minimum 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation, computer applications experience including MS Office and TMW strongly desired, excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work efficiently and multitask, and ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary. Low Voltage Technician The purpose of this position is to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, Access Control systems and all related electronic security equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Starting pay ranges from $20-$35 based on experience- also there is a monthly Incentive program of up to 10% of your annual pay! Here's what you'll be doing: • Install and wire specified alarm system devices. • Test and verify that all systems and devices installed (alarm panels, sirens, horns, strobes, etc.) function properly and in accordance to manufacturer's specifications. • Use multimeters for particular volts and OHM readings and circuit analysis.- Hook up RJ31X to specified panel mountings of particular devices such as motion detectors, keypads, and controls. • Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad. • Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the specific alarm system installed works. • Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department on a daily basis. • Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station. • All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor specific to the operation of daily business functions.
