Shop Service TechHugg & Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with mechanical knowledge and communication skills to join our team as a Service Tech in the shop. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956.About The PositionShop Service Techs function as part of the Service team and are responsible for diagnosing and repairing various types of aerial, material handling, and construction equipment along with air compressors.In this role, you will:Troubleshoot and repair a variety of equipment with a focus on aerial equipment and air compressors at the local branch to bring each unit back to operational and safety standards.Effectively communicate with all involved parties including salespeople, coordinators, managers, and customers about possible downtime and job progress updates.Operate in a safe, efficient manner with minimal supervision, to decrease equipment downtime, while also maintaining safe working standards.Compensation/BenefitsCompetitive compensationPerformance bonusesOvertime after 8 hours per dayFactory trainingInsurance (medical, dental, vision, and life insurances and several supplemental benefits)Generous PTO planPaid holidays401k with company matchRequirementsMinimum 1 year of mechanical training/education and/or experience in a related fieldPossessing or ability to obtain complete line of toolsAbove average communication skillsAbility to obtain equipment operator certificationsAbility to read or be trained in reading schematicsHigh school diploma or equivalentSkills That Will Set You Up For Success May Include:Having general knowledge of operating various equipmentAbility to accomplish duties with accuracy and timelinessAbility to work independently with minimal supervisionAbout UsHugg & Hall Equipment Company is a full-service equipment dealer headquartered in Little Rock, Arkansas since 1956.
