Maintenance Technician Are you a skilled maintenance professional looking for a dynamic role where your expertise will help maintain the excellence of multiple restaurants? As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety, functionality, and aesthetic standards of our restaurants. This role involves routine maintenance, emergency repairs, and proactive solutions to keep our facilities in top condition. Key Responsibilities • General Maintenance & Repairs • Perform tile work, including replacement and repair of damaged tiles. • Address drywall and FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Panels) issues, including patching, repairing, and installing. • Unclog, repair, and maintain drain lines and plumbing systems. • Replace and repair ceilings, ceiling tiles, and grid systems as needed. • Conduct lighting maintenance, including bulb and ballast replacement, and troubleshoot electrical issues. • Repair or replace electrical outlets, switches, and wiring. • Preventative Maintenance • Perform minor carpentry, painting, and sealing to prevent structural deterioration. • Maintain equipment such as door hardware, hinges, and locks. • Inspect and maintain restaurant seating, booths, and other furnishings. • Safety & Compliance • Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety regulations and company standards. • Document and report potential safety hazards or violations. • Respond promptly to emergency repair requests to minimize downtime. • Collaboration & Communication • Work closely with restaurant management to prioritize maintenance needs. • Coordinate with vendors or contractors for specialized repairs when necessary. • Provide regular updates on maintenance progress and completion. Qualifications • Proven experience in maintenance, facilities management, or a related field. • Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repair work. • Ability to use hand and power tools effectively and safely. • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to travel between locations. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in physically demanding environments Preferred Skills • Experience in the restaurant or retail industry. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervises the installation of specialty systems (10+ technicians) and/or multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting or beating estimated job costs. • Travels to customer premises to install, troubleshoot, and maintain specialty systems (to include, but not limited to, copper/fiber structured cabling, outside plant, CATV, CCTV, WLAN, fire alarm, access control, security, audio, etc.). • Develops and integrates project schedules with other trades. • Possesses experience with complex and/or technical installations. • Independently develops accounts to widen scope and generates additional revenue through upselling, estimating, pricing, and negotiation. • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
