Job Duties: • Troubleshoot, diagnose and repair Crown and all other makes of lift trucks. • Perform all assigned planned maintenance on customer lift trucks. • Maintain a service van and its inventory. • Process paperwork after completion of each job. Minimum Qualifications: • Less than 2 years related experience • High school diploma or equivalent • Valid driver's license, good driving record, and ability to safely operate lift trucks. Preferred Qualifications: • Good mechanical and electrical aptitudes, knowledge of electrical/electronic systems and hydraulics and internal combustion engines, and the ability to read and understand electrical and hydraulic schematics. • Good written/verbal communication and customer care skills. • Technical degree, previous lift truck repair, welding experience, and knowledge of various types of testing equipment preferred. • Familiar with tools and equipment such as common hand tools, electrical/air tools, torch, arc welder and various types of testing equipment. • Ability to read and understand service manuals, plan, and follow-through. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred, or equivalent combinations of technical training and related experience. Work Experience: 0 - 2 years construction estimating support, engineering, field support, or similar experience. Knowledge, skills, and abilities: Proficiency with all MS Office products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.), Scheduling and AGTEK Take-off software. Working knowledge of construction equipment and techniques, drawing and specifications, building materials and required standards applicable to discipline. Ability to perform trigonometric calculations either manually or with a calculator. Ability to assume responsibility, interface and communicate effectively with others. Field Installation Specialist Manage all field issues, installation training, and warranty programs Essential Functions Develop and conduct installation training programs both on site and in classroom settings. Modify and update installation manuals as necessary to maintain current information. Visit assigned job sites to ensure products are installed properly and in accordance with installation manuals. Train job site personnel to properly install IMPs as needed.
