This position offers a dynamic mix of production, shipping and receiving, installation, and customer support responsibilities.Key Responsibilities IncludeBuild, repair, and fabricate conveyor belts and related componentsInstall and vulcanize lightweight conveyor belting in-house and at customer locationsReceive, inspect, and organize incoming materials and suppliesPick, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and efficientlyMaintain shipment records and inventory dataCoordinate with truck carriers and delivery servicesAssist with conveyor system repairs and installationsMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all company safety procedures and wear required PPERepresent Belt Power professionally when interacting with customers and teammatesRequirementsWe're seeking motivated individuals who are dependable, mechanically inclined, and eager to learn.QualificationsStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to read and verify measurements accurately using a tape measureBasic computer and math skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational abilitiesStrong verbal and written communication skillsAbility to adapt to changing priorities and work environmentsValid driver's license with a clean driving recordHigh school diploma or equivalentAbility to pass a background check and drug screeningPreferred QualificationsForklift experienceMaintenance or conveyor belt technician experienceExperience working in manufacturing, warehouse, or industrial environmentsPhysical RequirementsThis role is active and hands-on. Job Summary: Sysco has immediate job openings for dependable local CDL A Delivery Truck Driver to safely and efficiently operate a tractor-trailer and manually unload/deliver various products (meats, produce, frozen foods, groceries, dry goods, supplies, etc.) to customer locations on an assigned route schedule. Our truck drivers build relationships with each customer using their positive, friendly attitude and become familiar with their operations to meet needs and expectations. QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Requirements • 21+ years of age. • Pass employment testing • License to drive - valid Class A Commercial Driver License (CDL) with a driving record that meets company insurability standards • Commercial Vehicle Drivers must have the ability to read and speak the English language sufficiently to converse with the general public, to understand highway traffic signs and signals in the English language, to respond to official inquiries, and to make entries on reports and records. • Touch freight – may need to lift, push or move product weighing an average of 40-60 pounds and as much as 100 pounds repeatedly. • Flexibility – overtime as required, weekends and holidays as business needs require. Preferred Requirements • 1 year customer delivery experience preferred. • 6 months hand cart/hand truck experience preferred. • 6 months Food and Beverage experience preferred. • 2 years consistent work history preferred.
