Hiring a Commercial Delivery Driver - Class A or B License Required to Operate our 26' Box Truck Seasonal Position - Scheduled to work during season peaks of the school year and off when schools are closed for spring/summer/winter breaks Paid Hourly: $29.00/Hour Scholastic Book Fairs is looking for committed Class B Drivers for deliveries and pickups of books and supplies that help children become lifelong learners. Scholastic Book Fairs Drivers return home same day and will travel in city, suburbs, and rural areas. The pickup and delivery requires the loading and unloading of company trucks at both Branch and Schools, utilizing all safety procedures during this process. Our drivers obtain their daily manifests and inspect their trucks and equipment prior to leaving the Branch. This is a Seasonal position that works through the peaks of the school year, may be off during the summer and fall/winter/spring breaks and then restarts again when the school year starts back. These positions are not full time and do not have benefits. Hours are scheduled on a variety of days Monday through Friday between hours of 7:00 AM and 4:00 PM. All drivers will be given proper equipment including uniforms and shoes and must maintain a professional appearance.
