Logistics Coordinator - Transportation

Logistics Coordinator The Logistics Coordinator provides overall direction throughout the Dedicated Fleet operation and provides operational assistance to the Project Manager wherever needed. Responsibilities include maintaining positive and encouraging working relations with all drivers, providing constant communications of service issues to appropriate personnel and departments, both internal and external, performing load planning, driver scheduling, and dispatch duties using both Dedicated Fleet and Common Carrier resources, coordinating daily data entry into NFI's proprietary order-management-system, TMW, coordinating with home-office invoicing team to ensure timely and accurate completion of weekly customer invoices, ensuring accurate and timely completion of daily and weekly tasks, providing weekly KPI/performance data reports to both internal and external parties, coordinating daily on scheduling truck and trailer maintenance, working with safety department on DriveCam, driver compliance and HOS issues, assisting Project Manager with implementing NFI's Safety, Security and Labor policies, assisting and providing coverage throughout departments during vacations, holidays if necessary, managing and maintaining driver payroll, auditing and approving driver expense reports, and providing assistance to Project Manager wherever needed. Qualifications include minimum 2-3 years experience in logistics and/or transportation, computer applications experience including MS Office and TMW strongly desired, excellent customer service, problem solving, communication and decision making skills, excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work efficiently and multitask, and ability and availability to work extended hours if necessary. Low Voltage Technician The purpose of this position is to install, service, and test electronic security systems including burglar and fire alarms, CCTV, Access Control systems and all related electronic security equipment in residential, commercial, and industrial environments. Here's what you'll be doing: • Install and wire specified alarm system devices. • Test and verify that all systems and devices installed (alarm panels, sirens, horns, strobes, etc.) function properly and in accordance to manufacturer's specifications. • Use multimeters for particular volts and OHM readings and circuit analysis.- Hook up RJ31X to specified panel mountings of particular devices such as motion detectors, keypads, and controls. • Program alarm systems via programmer or keypad. • Explain and demonstrate to the customer how the specific alarm system installed works. • Complete proper paperwork and submit to the appropriate department on a daily basis. • Communicate with clients, co-workers and Per Mar's Central Monitoring Station. • All other reasonable duties as assigned by the Supervisor specific to the operation of daily business functions. Warehouse Assistant IThis position is responsible for performing all aspects of warehouse functions for a branch operation in a safe, efficient, and timely manner. A moderate level of supervision is provided for the Warehouse Assistant I job. Essential Functions Performs general warehouse duties: Fills orders in a timely manner by operating warehouse equipment and machinery including operating a fork lift, computing and optimizing yields, and cutting material to size. Loads and unloads delivery trucks as needed, and uses SAP and other tools to receive and ship materials. Processes operational activities in SAP through work orders and prepares proper documentation including transfer orders, bills of lading, delivery notes, work orders, call tags for non-conforming material and others as required. Maintain inventory accuracy: Maintains accurate inventory levels in SAP by correctly filling orders, organizing the material in the warehouse and conducting regular inventory counts. Notifies the Purchasing Department of materials that appear to be out of stock and or under or over supply. Provide high level of quality and customer service: Provides a high level of customer service for both internal and external customers, displaying a high sense of urgency. Verifies conformance of products to specifications by following quality guidelines including the use of proper measuring devices, inspection of incoming and outgoing material for quality, and documentation through the quality process. Safety and Continuous Improvement: Participates in continuous improvement activities including submitting ideas to help drive improvement. Follows company safety policies and procedures and looks for ways to improve safety in the facility. Troubleshooting - Resolves warehouse and production issues, completes preventative maintenance, troubleshoots malfunctions, and performs minor repairs as needed. Communicates errors in product, equipment, and other issues that may arise in fulfilling orders. Performs other duties as assigned.
