Part Time Warehouse AssistantNorthwest Respiratory Services seeks a Part Time Warehouse Assistant to join our team in Des Moines, IA. This person will assist in managing inventory, shipping, procurement and maintenance of respiratory therapy equipment and supplies. This position offers part-time hours Monday-Friday.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAssists with inventory control of productsVerifies packing slip accuracy with purchase order as new products enter the warehouseStock shelves, rotate inventory items as necessary, report shortages to managerMaintain equipment repair processes, including disinfecting, cleaning, reassemblyFunction testing of reassembled equipment and placement back in inventory as patient readyFill daily work orders in a timely manner for UPS shipping readinessReport and take active part in measured improvement in processes to reduce incorrect deliveriesAssists team to ensure Branch orders are pulled accuratelyEnsure branch orders are shipped in a timely manner using the most cost-effective meansCommunicate inventory needs to leadership based on established par levelsServe as a product availability and location resource to Customer Service, Service Technicians, and other team membersAssist with clerical activities including filing and maintaining of various established data bases including equipment repair log and other compliance recordsDevelop and maintain a basic knowledge of NRS Employee Handbook and Policy and Procedure ManualAttend annual training sessions and/or competency testsUnder the direct supervision of Director of RT assists with in house clients as appropriateAll other duties as assigned by branch managerQualificationsMust be able to pass a background check and drug test.Attention to detail.Ability to work independently with little supervision and process orders in a timely, accurate mannerA positive and professional attitude.We look forward to seeing your application and the opportunity to speak with you further!

Mail Carriers are responsible for sorting mail, loading mail and packages into delivery vehicles, driving or walking delivery routes, delivering mail to mailboxes and businesses, collecting outgoing mail, and maintaining delivery records. Carriers must work in all weather conditions and follow USPS safety and delivery procedures. This position typically pays $19 to $22 per hour to start for City Carrier Assistants, with career Mail Carriers earning approximately $22 to $36 per hour depending on tenure, plus opportunities for overtime pay, Sunday premium pay, holiday pay, and night differential pay.Mail Carriers are responsible for casing and sorting mail in the post office, loading delivery vehicles, delivering mail and packages, obtaining signatures for certified or registered mail, collecting outgoing mail, and completing delivery routes on schedule. Employees must follow USPS delivery procedures, safety regulations, and federal mail handling guidelines.Full-time career employees may be eligible for benefits including federal health insurance, pension retirement plan, Thrift Savings Plan (401k-style), paid time off, paid federal holidays, uniform allowance, and opportunities for advancement into supervisory or management roles.
