What You'll Do • Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers warmly and making them feel welcome in the bakery • Assist customers with finding products, reaching items, carrying heavy purchases, and taking orders at the bakery counter • Review daily orders and monitor product freshness, appearance, and supply levels throughout your shift • Prepare, finish, and replenish baked goods as needed, pulling product from the cooler or freezer to prepare for baking • Follow and maintain proper sanitation procedures, keeping your work area clean and organized at all times • Check in product, put product away, and review invoices as needed • Operate the department register to process payments where applicable • Remove trash in a timely manner and maintain a tidy department • Work alongside your teammates to ensure a smooth, positive experience for every customer • Maintain compliance with Hy-Vee's dress code, hygiene standards, and all company policies • Assist in other store areas and take on special projects as needed • You'll receive direction and support from: Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Perishables, Store Operations, and Health Wellness Home, and Bakery Department Manager Your Skills • Follow written and verbal instructions with confidence • Use basic math skills for simple addition, subtraction, counting, and recording • Communicate clearly with customers and teammates in a friendly, helpful way • Stay organized and keep up with the pace of a busy bakery environment • Less than a high school diploma or equivalent accepted; up to six months of similar or related experience preferred Reporting Relationships Accountable and Reports to: Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Managers of Perishables, Store Operations, and Health Wellness Home, and Bakery Department Manager Education and Experience • Less than a high school diploma or equivalent experience accepted • Up to six months of similar or related work experience preferred Physical Requirements • Frequently stand and walk throughout a shift in sales, food service, or delivery areas • Where applicable to the role: ability to safely use sharp knives and blades for food preparation • Where applicable to the role: exposure to heat- and burn-related hazards associated with cooking, baking, or grilling equipment • Where applicable to the role: ability to operate a delivery vehicle in accordance with applicable DOT standards • Perform repetitive standing, walking, reaching, and bending associated with order fulfillment, POS transactions, and cleaning/sanitation duties Working Environment This role is based in a store bakery environment where things stay busy and engaging. You may encounter exposure to flour dust, noise, temperature extremes, and damp conditions, all pretty standard for a bakery setting. The role also involves working with and around standard bakery equipment and may include exposure to electrical equipment and cleaning products or solvents. Description Site Safety Manager: 100% Nationwide Travel Join Hanwha Qcells USA Corp and support the build of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects across the U.S. This is an evergreen posting for future project needs across our solar and BESS EPC portfolio. We are actively building a pipeline of qualified Site Safety Managers to support upcoming work. IMPORTANT: Travel & Relocation Requirement • 100% nationwide travel is required • You will relocate to project sites for 8–12 months at a time • This is a fully on-site, field-based role • Candidates must be comfortable with a project-to-project travel lifestyle SUMMARY This is an evergreen opportunity supporting upcoming solar and BESS EPC projects across the U.S. Site Safety Managers are placed on project sites for the duration of the build (typically 8–12 months) and then transition to the next project. This is onsite, working on the project site, working hours are Monday through Friday, from 8:00am to 5:00pm local time or other working hours the site may establish. Overtime and weekend working hours will be required as needed. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the United States. We are unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTION & RESPONSIBILITIES • Work with site EPC personnel to implement and manage a proactive behavior-based approach to Health & Safety. This includes a strong emphasis on personal responsibility, incident prevention and a management systems approach to compliance. • Supports the development of H&S policies, programs and procedures to establish a culture of health and safety. • Ensures compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, EPA, etc.). • Continuously evaluating employees and contractors practices, procedures to assess and reduce risks for the benefit of employees and contractors. • Lead accident or mishap investigations to identify causes and recommend improvement opportunities and preventive and corrective measures. • Visit work areas to conduct safety audits on personnel, equipment, materials and adherence to work requirements. Perform periodic safety and health risk assessments and compliance audits to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS • Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent experience • Minimum of 5 years of general construction experience • 2 years managerial experience preferred • 3 years of solar industry experience preferred • Have an operational knowledge of construction safety, OSHA, ANSI, and other applicable standards, regulations, laws, and procedures • OSHA 30/510 required • Must have a valid current driver license BENEFITS • Competitive per diem rate • Company vehicle provided • Annual bonus opportunity • Rotational program EXAMPLE OF PHYSICAL DEMANDS • Able to climb and maintain balance on ladders, scaffolding, stairways, etc. • Stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, or work at elevated heights as well as in confined spaces (towers, vessels, excavations, etc.) • Able to walk or move continuously while carrying 50 lbs. of tools and/or materials.
