Details • 28-bed cardiac telemetry unit caring for all cardiac needs • Nurse to patient ratio of 1:4-6 • Unit supported by PCTs, a healthcare unit coordinator, virtual sitter monitoring, and monitor techs • Night shift schedule from 18:30-07:00 • 13-week assignment length • Up to 6 weekend shifts required within a 6-week schedule period • Holiday coverage based on department needs Requirements • Active RN license (Standard or Compact) required • Current BLS certification (AHA) required • Minimum 1 year of experience required • Nursys license verification required within 30 days prior to start • Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to start Additional Information • Provides direct nursing care including implementing and monitoring patient care plans • Serves as primary coordinator across disciplines for well-coordinated patient care • Carries out physician and nursing orders and assesses discharge planning needs • Requires critical thinking, decisive judgment, and ability to work with minimal supervision in a stressful environment • Follows Standard Precautions using personal protective equipment as required • Radius rule applies allowing local candidates at a reduced rate that varies by state • Only one submission allowed per candidate across the health system American Traveler Job ID #P-746838.
