ATEC Logistics Job Opportunity This position is for ATEC Logistics, LLC, a subsidiary of Armada. Founded in 1989 and based in Maitland, Florida, ATEC is a logistics provider with expertise in the areas of global ocean shipping, export documentation, and order management services. ATEC is a company providing innovative leveraged transportation, documentation, warehousing and order management services with specific focus and expertise in the food and beverage sectors. We offer complete door to door freight management, including contract negotiations and detailed container tracking for air / LCL / LTL / FTL movements. ATEC Logistics is currently seeking a self-motivated individual to manage orders and logistics for our international customers. This includes processing inbound export / import orders; responding to inquiries originating from any party involved; booking and management of our logistics services and providing support to global clients. The salary for this position is $43,800 and requires employees to work onsite 5 days per week. Responsibilities include: • Management of export orders (LCL / FCL / Air) from receipt to delivery point • Arrange transportation (ocean/road/air) with assigned carriers • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to fulfill customer supply chain needs • Process all inquiries in a timely and professional manner from customers, vendors, transportation companies, ocean carriers, air forwarders, etc. • Utilize transportation management systems to track and manage shipments • Effectively resolve problems by utilizing internal and external resources and by determining best course of action • Requesting and reviewing export documentation including invoices, packing lists, managing certificates, while simultaneously ensuring compliance for export shipping and meeting deadlines. • Act as a liaison between international customers, suppliers and ocean / air carriers Requirements: • 1-3 years Export or Freight forwarding experience a plus • Bilingual (spanish/english) a must • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook and Excel • Excellent communication and organizational skills • Detailed oriented, analytical and able to multitask • Must work well individually and as part of a team Physical Demands and Work Environment: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Workforce Solutions Director The Workforce Solutions team is in charge of discovering the demand for our services in the industry and marketing our brand throughout the industry. They initiate our relationship with client facilities by developing a master staffing agreement containing the terms of our relationship. The Workforce Solutions Director is responsible for prospecting and qualifying potential clients by asking questions that focus on strategic workforce planning. This role effectively develops mutually beneficial relationships and connections with current and potential clients at a national level based on the assigned territory. This position manages a larger territory and is responsible for signing client contracts and revenue production. Essential functions of the job include: • Develop sales plans for the assigned territory that aligns with the company's strategic sales plan and revenue goals. • Lead generation, pipeline development and closing new business (client staffing contracts), both as a "doer" and a "leader". Immigration Specialist IV The Immigration Department is responsible for processing immigration petitions and resolving any issues. The Immigration Specialist IV is responsible for processing immigration petitions for Avant candidates in an efficient and effective manner, while proactively troubleshooting any issues. This role ensures that databases are accurately maintained and that all immigration requirements are current for each applicant, while sustaining timelines and fluid communication with Healthcare Professionals (HCPs) and all Avant Departments. The Immigration Specialist is expected to exercise discretion and independent judgment with respect to matters of significance, including interpreting and applying immigration laws and regulations, developing policies, and advising management on strategic immigration matters. • Work independently and with minimal supervision to process visa petitions in compliance with the U.S. Citizenship & Immigration Services (USCIS) • Use independent judgment to ensure that filings and HCPs will be in compliance with all applicable immigration laws and regulations. • Manage and oversee the preparation and filing of all immigration-related applications and petitions (e.g., H-1B, L-1, PERM, I-140, I-485). • Coordinate with employees and external legal counsel to gather necessary documentation and information for filings • Interpret and apply immigration law and provide expert and highly skilled guidance to employees on immigration-related issues and strategies. • Develop and implement immigration policies and procedures to support the company's strategic objectives. • Act as the primary point of contact for employees and management regarding immigration matters. • Consult with government agencies and external legal counsel as necessary. • Remain current with changes in immigration laws and policies through continuous education and update the company's procedures accordingly. • Use discretion and independent judgment to review and evaluate information included on all petitions for the applicable statuses for adjudication before submission • Use independent judgment to resolve issues and concerns such as documentation needs, immigration status requests, and procedural issues • Communicate with other departments and HCPs regarding candidate processing, timelines, and any other relevant updates, as needed • Other duties as assigned This is a full-time position.
