Key Responsibilities • Conduct assessments, interventions, and follow-up services to address the mental health needs of clients, focusing on perinatal mental health and providing referrals to community resources. • Collaborate with the clinical team and local agencies to assist clients in navigating social service needs, advocate for their rights, and enhance their access to mental health resources. • Facilitate and lead group therapy sessions for clients, tailoring activities to meet the unique needs of each consumer. • Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical guidelines as stipulated by the United States Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association. • Assist in psychosocial assessments and develop treatment plans under clinical supervision, ensuring accurate documentation of client progress and treatment efficacy. • Engage with external referral sources, including outpatient programs and inpatient facilities, to generate new client intakes and expand service reach. • Participate actively in staff meetings and case conferences, contributing insights and collaborative efforts to enhance organizational effectiveness. • Utilize systems for accurate and comprehensive documentation related to treatment plans, daily notes, attendance, and discharge summaries. • Provide individual meetings with consumers, family members, and agency staff to ensure coordinated care and support. • Perform additional duties as assigned that enhance mental health service delivery. Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mental health challenges, with a special focus on perinatal mental health issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and include adults facing various psychological stressors, anxiety, depression, and trauma. This role emphasizes the importance of establishing trust and rapport with clients to foster effective therapeutic relationships and improve overall mental health outcomes. Qualifications • A Master's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related discipline is required. • Possession of a valid State Social Work License (LMHC, LMFT, LICSW) as per state regulations. • Authorization to work in the U.S. is essential. • No history of medical malpractice claims, verified by a third party. • Adept at working with a multidisciplinary team within an outpatient mental health context. • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to share information clearly and concisely while respecting the contributions of others. Preferred Experience • Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is strongly preferred. • Familiarity with JCAHO, Medicaid, and DBH standards is beneficial. • Experience with psychosocial assessments and treatment planning. Compensation and Benefits The salary range for this position is between USD 50,000 to 70,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
