Assembly Supervisor

Supply Chain Management Logistics Coordinator To support the Supply Chain Management Team. This position is responsible for all logistics, incoming and outgoing. Direct responsibility for transportation and customs processes, providing customer service for shipment, receipt and documentation of imported/exported products in accordance with federal and foreign regulations. Responsibilities & Duties • Plan and coordinate all inbound/outbound shipments, domestic and international for small packages, palletized/crated, and units. • Prepare or help to obtain documents for air/ocean export shipments and import documents for distribution to brokerage operation and freight forwarders. • Coordinate and monitor freight forwarders, customs brokers and trucking vendors for inbound and outbound door-to-door international and domestic shipments. This includes LTL, FTL as well as FCL and LCL. • Obtain schedule b (or HTS) numbers for import/export commodities. • Accept, validate, and process transportation-movement requests. Coordinate intercompany shipments with other divisions. • Work with the intermodal Kelvion transportation vendors and Brokers to secure the most cost-efficient intermodal routes. • Manage UPS / Fed Ex and other freight companies inbound and outbound. • Advise inbound and outbound routing instructions. • Prepare, coordinate, and follow up on all export / import activities. • File freight claims and monitor progress through conclusion. • Review freight invoices, work with the SCM team on freight cost reductions. • Team with warehouse management on stock movements between buildings. Work with other departments on outgoing / incoming freight / packages • Process shipments through the ERP system. • Take pictures of RT & Rhino shipments, process orders through the ERP system. • All other duties assigned. Fluent in Spanish a plus. • Computer skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, Teams and ability to learn various functions assigned within the ERP (Syteline, SAP or other) manufacturing system. • Communications Skills: Ability to receive, listen, and understand in-coming messages (Teams and Telecom), verbal, and written communication from co-workers, outside transportation firms and supplier documentation. • Reasoning: Ability to apply general rules to determine resolutions of requests and be able to process numbers as needed to put away and pull material per transaction requirements. Education and Experience (Required Levels) • Bachelor's degree in Logistics or Business (preferred) or equivalent experience. • 2-3 years prior experience in shipping, inventory control, material handling, and/or receiving in a manufacturing / factory environment preferred. • Must be able to safely and efficiently operate turret and stand up/reach forklifts in narrow aisle/locations safely and productively. • Valid driver's license and safe driving record • Basic math and reading skills. Safety Coordinator - Tulsa Tulsa - Catoosa, OK 74105 Overview Position Type Full Time Travel Percentage None Category Safety Description The successful Safety Coordinator will implement CECs safety programs by conducting daily field walks, taking care of regulatory compliance and audit oversight, and developing project specific corrective action plans to address safety issues and concerns. This individual will be responsible for coaching and mentoring employees to help facilitate safe behaviors and an overall safety culture at project sites. This is a safety sensitive position. Key Responsibilities • Assist and coach Crew Foreman/General Foremen in completing daily Operational Risk Management (ORM) boards and the development of Job Hazard Analyses. Safety Coordinator will photo-document the completed ORM board daily. • Ability to work day and/or night shifts, overtime, and weekends dependent upon project schedule. • Submit Site Safety Audit reports daily, recording their findings including any hazards or deficiencies observed, corrective actions taken by management, and supported by attachments and photographs. • Interact regularly with field personnel and site supervision to address safety observations and provide feedback for resolution. • Assist with delivery of job site-specific safety orientations for new employees joining the project, as applicable. • Assisting site supervision in completion of incident investigations and root cause analysis. • Perform periodic audits of power tools and equipment (i.e., scissor lifts, forklifts, fall protection, laser levelers, etc.) to ensure equipment is being maintained in good working order, as applicable. • Subcontractor compliance with applicable rules and regulations, and project safety requirements. • Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient and effective processes, completion of projects and smooth operation of department. Qualifications Qualifications • Degree or extensive training in environmental health and safety discipline a plus • 1 - 3 years in construction safety experience (electrical, mechanical safety experience preferred) • OSHA 30 Construction required; OSHA 510/511 preferred Skills & Abilities • Understanding of electrical industry construction and general industry consensus standards such as NFPA, NESC, ASTM, and ANSI • Experience with construction workforce desired • CPR/FA Certified • Ability and experience with presenting and training others • Ability to work independently, strong communication skills with the ability to influence behaviors • Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.) • Safety certifications in competency desired • Bi-lingual desired Work Environment & Physical Demands Extensive travel by vehicle, significant work at construction sites, during all stages, may work inside or outside. Possible exposure to hot and cold temperatures, in all-weather elements such as rain, heat, cold and snow.
