Patient Population / Client Focus In this role, you will work primarily with a diverse patient population, including individuals from varying cultural backgrounds and age groups. Understanding the unique challenges faced by our patients is critical for tailoring effective interventions that promote healing and resilience. Qualifications • Hold a current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Psychologist. • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required; however, advanced degrees are preferred for deeper clinical understanding and methodology. • Ability to exhibit empathy and build rapport quickly with patients, recognized for excellent communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficiency in evidence-based therapeutic techniques and familiarity with brief therapy models relevant to a community health clinic setting. • Demonstrated capability to navigate a fast-paced working environment, manage a varied caseload, and prioritize tasks efficiently. POSITION SUMMARY The Director, OSM is a key leader within the Out-of-State Medicaid function responsible for driving performance, operational execution, and client outcomes across multiple teams. This role oversees Managers, Supervisors, and Revenue Specialists, ensuring alignment of day-to-day operations with departmental strategy, revenue targets, and client expectations. The Director is accountable for setting priorities, optimizing resource allocation, and delivering consistent, high-quality results through effective leadership, performance management, and cross-functional collaboration. In partnership with senior leadership, this role identifies opportunities for continuous improvement, enhances operational efficiency, and develops leadership capability within their span of control to support sustained performance and growth. High School Diploma or GED required. • 7-10 years' experience in management or supervisory experience with team size of 10+. • 6+ years' experience in healthcare setting, information technology company or managed care industry, preferably in the area of Finance/Collections, Business Operations or Revenue Recovery. • Experience working with internal teams while serving in a client facing or client support role. • Knowledge and understanding of financials, HMO's, hospital revenue cycle process, ancillary and provider contract language and familiarity with healthcare and provider data sets. • Extensive level of understanding of insurance payer/provider claim processing and subsequent data requirements. • Must have strong computer proficiency and understand how to use basic office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook). • Timely and regular attendance. • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered • To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Key Responsibilities • Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patients' needs, developing actionable and personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices. • Implement therapeutic interventions drawing from a range of modalities, including cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused techniques, tailored to individual circumstances. • Lead psychoeducational groups and support sessions aimed at providing patients with community, information, and tools needed to manage their mental health. • Collaboratively work with psychiatrists, psychologists, and social workers to deliver cohesive and comprehensive patient care. • Provide crisis intervention services to aid patients during acute mental health episodes, ensuring their safety and facilitating access to immediate resources. • Educate patients and their families about mental health disorders, treatment options, and available community support services, empowering them to make informed decisions. • Maintain meticulous documentation that complies with all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring patient confidentiality and accurate record-keeping. • Participate in team meetings and professional development discussions aimed at enhancing group dynamics and therapeutic approaches. • Continuously pursue knowledge of advancements in mental health therapy, applying new practices to enhance the effectiveness of patient treatment. Patient Population / Client Focus As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with Fortis, you will work with a diverse client base, ranging from adolescents to older adults. Your role will involve developing mental health strategies that are culturally sensitive and responsive to the unique needs of each patient. This engagement not only improves individual therapy outcomes but also fosters a community-oriented approach to mental health care. Qualifications • A Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related field from an accredited institution is required for entry into our program. • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of Washington. • Sound knowledge of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and ethical therapeutic practices. • Demonstrated expertise in conducting mental health assessments and crafting effective treatment plans. • Ability to deliver both individual and group therapy effectively and compassionately to varied populations. • Excellent interpersonal skills to build rapport and foster a therapeutic alliance with patients. • Strong organizational skills and proficiency with electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain documentation efficiently. Preferred Experience • Experience in an outpatient psychiatric setting is highly valued. • Familiarity with telehealth practices and remote patient engagement. • Training in specialized therapeutic modalities will provide additional synergy to your role within our team. Compensation and Benefits The salary for this position ranges from USD 115,000 to 130,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
