You create product displays that are safe, clean, visually appealing, and easy for customers to access.While most of your time will be spent on activities that don't involve customer interaction, you may be expected to engage with customers when the opportunity arises. You'll be expected to listen to customers and answer questions, communicate product or warranty information, and assist in locating or handling merchandise.Key Responsibilities* Complete merchandising resets and service-related projects according to Lowe's specifications and provide proof of completion for assigned tasks* Verify buyback items and ensure they are pulled, prepped, and ready for shipping* Update/validate wayfinding and product location signage, as well as digital maintenance of this information throughout the store* Confirm product pricing information is clearly visible and replace any missing price labels* Help drive add-on sales by staging clearance products, sorting products in proper locations, and ensuring displays are placed appropriately throughout the store* Repair/replace damaged or missing items, including signage, merchandise and displays.* Communicate project priorities, schedule, and needs with Merchandising Services Team and Manager* Analyze metrics and provide feedback on project execution and in-store service to store, market, and corporate leaders* Complete other duties as assignedMinimum Qualifications* Read, write, and perform basic arithmetic (addition and subtraction)* Ability to hear, listen, and to communicate verbally with others* Utilize web-based computer programs to accomplish assigned tasks* Ability to sit and stand for long periods of time* Minimally lift 25lbs unassisted or over 25lbs with or without accommodationPreferred Qualifications* Lowe's sales floor experience* Experience performing product merchandising tasks, including reading planograms and setting up and tearing down displays.* Experience operating power equipment such as lifts, order pickers, and similar equipment* Working knowledge of essential tools (e.g., hand tools, drills, saws, etc.)Lowe's commitment to growth and teamwork extends to the community as well. Primary duties include meeting production quotas, researching and familiarizing oneself with incoming items and brands, pricing donated goods, and training and developing staff. Essential Functions/Duties • Supervise and coordinate established policies involving producing and shipping textile products and hard goods (miscel). • Responsible for training and developing processors to ensure that we are offering exceptional Donor service and that all Goodwill policies and procedures are being followed. • Supervise the donation attendants and processors in the receipt of inventory, stock rotations, color rotations, scheduled markdowns, and transfer of stock in accordance with the Organization's procedures within your assigned areas. • Assist with employee performance reviews yearly and have the Team Leader review the evaluation before it is given. • Address minor disciplinary infractions/absentee policy with approved documentation. • Assure that production quotas are met; responsible for the quality and quantity of textile and hard goods (miscel) produced. • Research and familiarize oneself with incoming items and assign appropriate costs based on best practices. • Work in collaboration with the Assistant Team Leader to ensure production quotas are met monthly. • Responsible for staff compliance with the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) and procedures for Public Protection. • Responsible for ensuring all Hazmat materials are properly handled and that your staff is properly trained on how to handle these materials. • Assist with writing schedules and monitoring production department hours to ensure a cost-effective operation. • All related areas are observed to promote good housekeeping, security, and safety practices.
