LeMay Centralia, a Waste Connections Company, is looking for a reliable and motivated Class B CDL Driver to join our team in Centralia, WA.Previous waste industry experience is a big plus-but not required. We're happy to train the right person!The schedule is Monday-Friday, 45-55 hours per week. Must be able to work holidays.The starting pay $27-29/hr with annual pay increases and bonus opportunities.Duties and Responsibilities:* Safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes to collect solid waste. Waste experience is preferred but not required.* Read route sheets and service each customer listed or assigned by the dispatcher.* Perform routine inspections and maintenance on vehicles, including checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.* Perform a physically demanding job, including loading and unloading, sometimes without assistance.* Operate hydraulic hand controls to lift and load refuse and dispose of trash at designated facilities.* Interact courteously with customers and perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.* Working Conditions and Physical Effort:* Requires extensive physical activity, including heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling objects over 50 pounds.* Work environment involves exposure to physical risks, such as moving mechanical parts, requiring basic safety precautions.* Exposure to outdoor weather conditions, including frequent wet and/or humid environments, as well as fumes and vibrations.Minimum Job Requirements:* Valid Class B CDL with air brakes endorsement* Clean driving record (please bring a copy of your MVR to the in-person interview)* Ability to operate 10-, 13-, and 18-speed transmissions (preferred, not required)* Minimum 1 year of relevant driving experience* Ability to read, write, and communicate in English* High school diploma or equivalent preferred* Safety-Sensitive - YESTo be considered for any of our current openings, you must complete an application at www.careers.wasteconnections.com.
