Labcorp Genetics is seeking a Customer Service Support Representative I - Remote Work schedule: Monday-Friday 8:30am - 5:00pm PST / 9:30am - 6:00pm MST/ 10:30am - 7:00pm CST / 11:30am - 8:00pm EST Shift difference for 11:30am EST - 8pm EST Responsibilities • Handle a high volume of outbound calls and occasional inbound calls regarding account balances, billing inquiries, and payment options. • Review reports and patient accounts to determine appropriate account resolution actions. • Research and resolve billing, insurance, and account-related issues. • Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances. • Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone. • Maintain performance goals. • Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program. This role is responsible for reviewing assigned reports and patient accounts, evaluating billing and account information, and determining appropriate actions to resolve outstanding balances and account-related issues. This Customer Service Support Representative serves as a key resource for patients by resolving open patient accounts receivable, addressing customer questions, and assisting patients with payment options, including the initiation of payment plans for outstanding balances. The position requires routine use of multiple systems and resources to efficiently research and resolve issues in real time while maintaining established performance and quality standards. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Virtual Medical Assistant to provide administrative support to our care team. The Virtual Medical Assistant will be responsible for making out-bound calls to patients to conduct intake meetings, will manage documentation in electronic health records (EHRs) including orders and monthly notes, triaging patient messages, and scheduling patient appointments, all while maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
