Providing essential support for patient care, the full-time remote Patient Scheduler will manage appointment coordination, insurance verification, and communication between patients and healthcare providers in a fast-paced environment.Key responsibilitiesServe as the primary point of contactfor patients to schedule appointments via phone and electronic correspondenceCollect, verify, and communicate patient insurance benefit details during schedulingEducate patients on the insurance verification process and their financial responsibilities prior to visitsRequired qualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred2+ years of customer service, appointment scheduling, or healthcare experience required1+ years of EHR system experience, preferably with athenaOne1+ years of remote work experience, especially in high-volume call environments, preferredProficiency in Google Suite, Microsoft Office, and other computer systems
