Receiver - Store Receivers are responsible for all back room operations. Receivers must be knowledgeable of all back room policies and procedures to properly manage all incoming and outgoing freight shipments and product. Receivers must receive product in a timely manner and work with a high level of accuracy and speed. Receivers must work closely with all departments to ensure all products are merchandised neatly as per the company expectations.Duties and ResponsibilitiesSupport the "Cavender's Culture" and drive our Mission, Vision, and ValuesReceive and stock merchandise accurately to maximize productivity and efficiencyReceive and process each electronic purchase order accurately (identify and match orders by vendor, style, size, dimension and quantity) to vendor packing slips, notating any and all discrepanciesReceive and process each electronic transfer "IN" document accurately (identify and match each item by style, size, dimension and quantity) to received transfer "OUT" document, notating any and all discrepanciesProperly load barcode ticket printer and perform weekly preventative maintenance on the printerPrint tags from ticket printer on each document type, to include miscellaneous barcode printingProperly tag merchandise with the appropriate tools and suppliesInspect footwear for defects and confirm each is properly matedProper placement of mate labelsProperly file and manage all paperworkProperly maintain and manage back stock merchandise movementProcess, maintain and manage return to vender and non-returnable merchandiseProperly handle return to stock merchandiseReceive and manage special order merchandiseMaintain a clean and organized back room at all timesMaintain and manage the flow and filing of all required documentsProperly report receiving, shipping and/or system problems to the proper authoritiesProperly train and delegate all aforementioned areas to stockersPerform all other miscellaneous duties as assignedWork with supervisors to understand all actions needed to impact the desire goals set by the company. Job Summary: The Warehouse Specialist is responsible for managing inventory, coordinating shipments, and ensuring efficient warehouse operations. This role requires attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment to support the supply chain process.Key Responsibilities:Receive, inspect, and store incoming materials and products.Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular cycle counts.Coordinate order picking, packing, and shipping to ensure timely delivery.Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely.Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.Collaborate with procurement, production, and logistics teams to optimize workflows.Process shipping and receiving documentation in the warehouse management system.Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse facility.Identify and report any inventory discrepancies or issues.Assist in continuous improvement initiatives for warehouse efficiency.Qualifications & Requirements:High school diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in warehouse operations are a plus.3+ years of experience in warehouse operations, and professional in SAP/Excel are a plus.Familiarity with inventory management systems and warehouse management software.Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification preferred).Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.Ability to lift and move heavy objects (up to 50 lbs.).Effective communication and teamwork skills.Willingness to work flexible hours, including Overtime if needed.Preferred Qualifications:Experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.Knowledge of safety and compliance regulations related to warehouse operations.Proficiency in Microsoft Office and inventory tracking software.This position requires standing, walking, lifting, and handling warehouse materials.Exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse conditions.Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by company policy.#J-18808-Ljbffr
