Job Title: Yard Driver (AM)Job Area: Terminal/Warehouse/TransportDivision: Road Transport USLocation: Richardson, TXTime Type: Full TimeBenefitsAnnual gross wage of $57,000 – $66,000, dependent on shift and personal performance.Eligible for 5–15 hours of overtime per week based on business needs.Home every day.Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance (eligible on the first of the month following 30 days of employment).Company paid short‑term & long‑term disability and life insurance.401(k) plan with up to 5% company match.Generous PTO package – including vacation, sick time, birthday holiday, 3 floating holidays, and 6 paid holidays a year.Bi‑weekly pay with Daily Pay options.$1,000 Referral Bonus Program.Cell phone allowance.Paid orientation including transportation, lodging, and meals.Duties & ResponsibilitiesMove trailers, containers, and equipment to and from loading docks, staging areas, and parking locations within the yard.Conduct pre‑trip and post‑trip inspections of yard tractors, trailers, and equipment and report defects or damage.Ensure trailers are properly secured, chocked, sealed, and docked according to safety procedures.Coordinate with dispatch, warehouse staff, and operations personnel to prioritize trailer moves and dock assignments.Maintain accurate yard location tracking using yard management systems (YMS), tablets, handheld devices, or written logs.Verify trailer numbers, seals, and load documentation prior to movement.Assist in yard organization, including staging empty and loaded trailers in designated areas.Monitor yard conditions and immediately report safety hazards, equipment issues, or security concerns.Maintain cleanliness and operational readiness of assigned yard tractor and equipment.Comply with company policies, OSHA safety standards, and site‑specific safety procedures.Support shipping and receiving operations during peak periods as directed.Perform other duties as assigned to support operational needs.Work Experience & QualificationsHigh school diploma or GED equivalent (preferred).Previous yard driver, hostler, shuttler, warehouse, or transportation experience (strongly preferred).Experience operating a yard tractor, terminal tractor, or similar equipment (preferred).Ability to obtain and maintain company yard certification and safety training.Class A driver's license required.Basic understanding of trailer types, coupling/uncoupling procedures, and dock operations (preferred).Ability to work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and holidays as operational needs require.Skills & CompetenciesStrong safety awareness and adherence to procedures.Attention to detail and accuracy.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.Time management and prioritization.Situational awareness in high‑traffic environments.Basic technology skills (handheld scanners, tablets, or yard management systems).Physical DemandsThis position requires frequent sitting while operating a yard tractor and frequent entering and exiting the vehicle throughout the shift. The employee must be able to climb in and out of equipment, couple and uncouple trailers, and perform inspections that involve bending, kneeling, squatting, reaching, and walking on uneven surfaces. The role requires the ability to lift and move items up to approximately 50 pounds occasionally and to work in tight spaces around docks and trailers.Work EnvironmentThe Yard Driver primarily works outdoors in a busy transportation yard or terminal environment and is regularly exposed to moving vehicles, heavy equipment, varying weather conditions, noise, dust, and diesel fumes. The position requires working around loading docks, trailers, and warehouse operations and may involve day, evening, overnight, weekend, and holiday shifts based on business needs.CompensationFor this position, the expected base pay range is $24 hourly. Coca-Cola is seeking Non-CDL Delivery Drivers to deliver beverage products to retail stores, restaurants, and business locations on an assigned route. Drivers are responsible for loading and unloading products, driving a company box truck or delivery vehicle, delivering products to customer locations, stocking shelves and coolers, rotating product, building displays, and completing delivery paperwork. Drivers must follow company delivery procedures, safety policies, and customer service standards while ensuring deliveries are completed accurately and on time. This position typically pays $20 to $27 per hour, with opportunities for overtime pay, route bonuses, holiday pay, and performance-based incentives depending on location and route.Drivers are responsible for verifying orders before delivery, unloading products using hand trucks, stocking products in store backrooms, coolers, and shelves, rotating older product forward, building promotional displays, and maintaining delivery and inventory records using handheld devices. Warehouse Packer/Print Packer Inspects product for conformity to specification. Packs inspected/approved product for shipment, storage, or delivery. Maintain neat and orderly workstations by staying within the designated areas and conducting necessary cleanup tasks while always keeping area clean and audit ready. Notify operating personnel of down machines as well as any defects as they occur including defects that may have occurred in mold. Follow all NSF guidelines by wearing proper PPE and while working with a safety 1st attitude. Responsibilities: Visually inspects product to assure conformity of color, quality, quantity, and absence of defects. Assure cups always match the "Run-to-sample" as signed off by the supervisor. Package product into appropriate containers, seal the containers, select and apply proper labels, and place boxes onto pallets. Clean rollers, plates and ink fountains with proper chemicals as instructed by operator. Dispose all wipes/rags into the designated bins. Removal of all trash during the shift. Be a team player that doesn't mind helping others. Ensure compliance to all company policies, procedures, food safety requirements, safety standards and government laws. Perform any other tasks that may be required and directed by supervision. Candidate Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent preferred. Able to read and follow written instructions.
