Warehouse Associate The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing various tasks to support the warehouse operations of GBC Food Services, LLC. This role includes the efficient processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring that the warehouse is clean, organized, and safe. The Warehouse Associate works closely with other team members to meet daily operational goals and uphold company standards. Responsibilities: • Receive, inspect, and accurately process incoming shipments. • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment, including both dry goods and frozen products, following company standards. • Load and unload trucks using appropriate material handling equipment. • Maintain accurate inventory records through regular cycle counts and promptly report discrepancies. • Safely and efficiently operate forklifts, electric pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment. • Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and free of hazards at all times. • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety regulations. • Assist with additional warehouse tasks as directed by supervisors. Work Schedule: • MondayFriday, 8am to 5pm Competencies: • Strong attention to detail. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team. • Good communication skills. • Basic math and computer skills. • Ability to follow instructions and standard operating procedures. Required Skills/Abilities: • Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery (certification preferred). • Proficiency in using warehouse management software. • Strong organizational skills. • Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs) repeatedly. Education and Experience: • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. • Previous warehouse or logistics experience preferred. Physical Requirements: • Prolonged periods of standing and walking. • Must be able to lift, bend, stoop, and reach regularly. • Ability to work in varying temperatures within the warehouse. • Ability to lift up to 50-pounds and operate warehouse equipment. Work Environment: • Warehouse environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and moving machinery. • Occasional overtime may be required to meet operational needs. Experience & Qualifications: • High School Diploma or GED required. • Previous experience in a warehouse required. • Familiar with inventory management and ordering products. • Strong organizational and communication skills. • Ability to work individually and with a team. • Ability to prioritize needs and shift focus quickly. • Ability to be flexible and dependable. • Ability to learn new computer programs. • Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, preferred. • Maintains a valid driver's license and ability to pass a drug screen and background check. Physical Requirements: • Position will require utilizing a computer, talking on the phone, attending virtual online meetings, standing/walking and being on your feet for up to 8 hours a day, and lifting up to 75 pounds. • Could work in a non-air-conditioned environment. Part-Time HVAC Dispatcher Modern Mechanical Services is hiring two reliable, detail-oriented Part-Time HVAC Dispatchers to coordinate daily service operations and support our back office. Every dispatcher schedules and communicates with field technicians and customers; in addition, each shift owns a specialized administrative function purchase order management (AM) and billing prep or billing & accounts receivable (PM). PM Shift Specialty Billing & Accounts Receivable • Prepare, review, and process customer invoices accurately and promptly. • Verify completed work orders, labor hours, materials, and pricing prior to invoicing. • Reconcile invoices, purchase orders, and service tickets to ensure billing accuracy. • Process customer payments and maintain accurate payment records. • Support AR by monitoring outstanding invoices and following up on past-due balances. • Communicate with customers regarding billing questions, payment status, and corrections. • Assist with month-end billing and administrative reporting. On-Call Rotation • Both positions participate in a rotating on-call schedule. While scheduled on call: • On-call incentive: $125 per on-call period. • Per-call pay: additional 0.5 hour of pay for each call handled while on call. Requirements • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills. • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. • Proficiency with data entry and office/accounting software. • Prior dispatch, purchasing, billing/AR, or HVAC/trades office experience preferred.
