Warehouse Picking Associate 1st Shift: 8:00 am - 5:30 pm Hourly Rate: $14.18+, plus benefits Position Summary Accurately selects, packs, and ships finished goods or raw materials according to what is required from a provided picking list. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Include the following. Other duties may be assigned. • Picks product using the SA AWS system following all applicable SOP's. • Confirms correct items and quantities per picking ticket or additional documentation. • Places product on provided cart or pallet in an organized fashion. • Identifies inventory issues and communicates these to the warehouse supervisor or manager. • Generates packing lists/manifests, BOLs, and arranges for transportation. • Is aware of and identifies hazardous materials and ensures safe and appropriate transportation of hazardous materials. • Promptly notify supervisor or warehouse manager of any backorders. • Maintains accurate inventory control by following all SOPs and processes and participates in inventory counts. • Keeps and maintains all required records of materials sent. • Maintains a safe work environment. • Keeps their respective area of the warehouse clean and orderly.
