We believe work should feel meaningful and rewarding, with opportunities to make an impact every day.ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate inventory by following CarMax inventory processes.Receive and secure vehicles shipped to CarMax and prepare title packets for transfers.Perform lot maintenance and merchandising, ensuring display areas are clean and organized.Prep vehicles for customer returns and loaners, including washing and vacuuming.Execute photo station process for carmax.com listings.Drive vehicles on and off the lot for repairs, storage, and auction support.Follow CarMax Environmental, Health and Safety (EH&S) requirements and maintain a clean and orderly work area.QualificationsValid driver's license and ability to meet CarMax driving standards.High school diploma or equivalent work experience preferred.Ability to read, interpret, and accurately transcribe data for inventory records.Completion of Inventory Associate workstation certifications and assigned trainings.Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs and work in both indoor and outdoor environments.Flexible availability, including nights, weekends, and holidays.Ability to stand or walk for extended periods in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment.Hourly Rate$18.50 – $25.80BenefitsFull‑time hourly or commission/incentive eligible associates earn up to 48 hours of sick time per year and 80–200 hours of vacation time per year after a 90‑day waiting period, depending on years of continuous service. Must possess, or be able to obtain and maintain, all valid applicable state license and other required certifications to operate company vehicles. Must meet physical and medical requirements and pass substance abuse screening. Must satisfactorily complete and pass all training. Must practice defensive driving at all times and avoid vehicular and industrial accidents by practicing safe driving and work habits. Compliance with all applicable federal, state, county, district, and contract specific Driver requirements.
