Job Title Arbor Lodging is a leading hotel investment and management company with a growing portfolio of hotels throughout the United States, Mexico, and the Caribbean. The Hotel Housekeeper/Room Attendant is responsible for cleaning and servicing guest rooms in order to provide a pleasant and comfortable experience for guests. They ensure that all rooms are inviting and clean, and they address all guest inquiries politely and knowledgeably. Duties & Responsibilities: • Prepare rooms for cleaning • Make beds • Dust rooms and furniture • Replenish guestroom and bathroom supplies • Clean the bathroom • Clean the closet • Vacuum and rack the carpet • Check and secure the rooms • Deliver and retrieve items on loan to guests (e.g. iron and ironing boards) • Ensure public areas, such as hallways, are cleaned and orderly • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and walk, sit, or stand for extended periods time • Ability to work independently and with a team • Manage guest calls, requests, & complaints in the area assigned to them • Additional tasks may be assigned at any given time Requirements Qualifications: • A secondary school diploma is preferred • Previous hotel-related experience desired • Experience using industrial cleaning equipment and products a plus • Professional attitude is required Benefits: • Competitive salary • Annual review with increase potential • 401k program with company match • Additional benefits may be available Arbor's Guiding Principles: • Do the Right Thing - Operate and act with integrity in all you do even when it is not convenient. • Lead with Heart - Be kind, passionate and hospitable. • Be Accountable - Take ownership and deliver results. • Aim Higher - Go above and beyond to exceed expectations and pursue thoughtful change. • Celebrate Differences - Embrace diversity; respect individual opinions and ideas.
