Responsibilities: Assist healthcare providers with patient scheduling and follow-up appointments. Manage patient records and ensure accurate documentation in electronic health systems. Communicate with patients to gather medical history and provide information on services. Perform administrative tasks such as billing, coding, and insurance verification. Coordinate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care. Respond to patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service. Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations. Stay updated on medical terminology and healthcare practices. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; certification as a Medical Assistant preferred. Proven experience in a medical assistant role or similar healthcare position. Strong knowledge of medical terminology and electronic health records (EHR). Excellent communication skills and a compassionate demeanor. Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office and healthcare software applications. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a remote team.
