Job Summary: Location: Methodist Jennie Edmundson Hospital Address: 933 E Pierce St. - Council Bluffs, IA Work Schedule: 3:30pm to 8pm as needed with weekend availability required This is a casual position. Casual employees work on an 'as needed' basis to meet the needs of the business. Workdays/hours will often vary from week to week. Responsible for preparing and delivering patient and guest trays to patient rooms, as well as assisting in the dish room as needed. Responsibilities: Essential Functions 1. Prepares assembly area for room service tray production by conducting pre-service quality checks and maintaining the cleanliness of the assembly area to ensure the area is ready for the preparation of patient and guest trays. 2. Maintains adequate level of food and supplies for appropriate service by ensuring par levels in food service area and nourishment centers are met and maintained. 3. Assembles and delivers patient food trays to the patient's room by following Room Service guidelines to ensure all orders are accurate and delivered in a pre-established time guideline. 4. Assists with the production and preparation of food items to ensure Room Service orders are prepared and delivered in a timely manner. 5. Interacts and helps support patients, families, hospital staff, and Food Service team with Room Service orders and/or questions on a daily basis in a welcoming and professional manner to ensure excellent customer service is met and maintained. 6. Assists patients with pre-meal service, including removing lids and opening packets, by following Room Service guidelines to ensure patients are satisfied and needs are met. 7. Retrieves Room Service tray carts from designated areas and assists with the cleaning of Room Service trays to ensure continuity of service. 8. Follows proper food handling procedures and complies with quality performance standards to ensure a safe and sanitary environment. Schedule: 3:30pm to 8pm as needed with weekend availability required Job Description: Job Requirements Education • High School diploma or General Educational Development (G.E.D.)preferred. Experience • 6 months food service experience preferred, preferably in a hospitality industry, which may include culinary, with strong emphasis in customer service. License/Certifications • Food Handler's Certificate preferred. Skills/Knowledge/Abilities • Knowledge of food production and delivery process preferred. • Knowledge of computers preferred. • Basic math skills required. • Strong verbal communication skills for positive interaction with staff and customers required. • Strong customer service skills required, including face-to-face and telephone, required. • Able to read, write, and carry out oral and written instructions with accuracy and efficiency required. Job Title The Detailer performs various detailing and transportation of new and pre-owned boats, motors, trailers and ATV's in support of a TMBC Sales, Service and Parts operation. Essential Functions • Supports a strong commitment to world class customer service and ensure a pleasant and productive shopping experience for all customers. • Washes, cleans, waxes, vacuums, etc. interiors and exteriors of boats for scheduled customer pickups, display and service customer units. • Using a fork lift or tractor, participates in the unloading of incoming boats, motors, trailers and ATVs then transport them to various areas within the dealership, i.e. storage lot, outside display, showroom floor or customer delivery area. • Confirms packing list or invoice of all boat loads or other product deliveries. • Transports and stages customer boats and ATV's to service, rigging and storage yard by moving units from one location to another as necessary. • Maintains an updated list of cleaning supplies and inform Service Manager or Service Lead of needed items. • Assists Rigger and Service Specialist with PDI and VIN verification processes. • Informs Service Manager or Service Lead of any unit concerns or required repairs. • Performs grounds and facility maintenance as required. • Keeps work area neat and clean. • All other duties as assigned.
