Service Porter Position: Service Porter Department: Service Reports To: Service Manager Position Summary The Service Porter plays a key role in supporting the Service Department by ensuring smooth operations, maintaining dealership standards, and assisting customers. This position involves vehicle handling, light maintenance tasks, and providing excellent customer service through efficient support and transportation services. Key Responsibilities • Vehicle Management & Inventory • Check in and document incoming vehicle inventory accurately. • Move vehicles to designated service, parking, or display areas as directed. • Maintain organization and cleanliness of vehicle lots and service lanes. • Customer Service & Transport • Provide shuttle service to transport customers to and from the dealership in a timely and courteous manner. • Assist customers with vehicle pick-up, drop-off, and valet-style service. • Maintenance & Facility Support • Perform light maintenance tasks such as area beautification, and vehicle cleaning when needed. • Assist with dealership facility cleanliness, including service drive and parking areas. • Team Support • Deliver parts, documents, or vehicles as required. • Support service advisors, technicians, and other dealership staff with operational needs. • Perform other duties as assigned by management. Qualifications • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. • Ability to safely operate manual and automatic transmission vehicles. • Excellent communication and customer service skills. • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and follow instructions. • Physical ability to stand, walk, and move vehicles for extended periods. Work Environment • Primarily outdoors with exposure to weather conditions. • Fast-paced automotive dealership setting. • Requires frequent movement, driving, and interaction with customers. Position Title: School Nurse Substitute Reports To: Building Principal, District Nursing Supervisor, and/or Director of Special Education Position Summary The School Nurse Substitute provides temporary nursing services in theabsence of the school nurse to support the health, safety, and well-being of students and staff. Responsibilities include assessing student health concerns, administering medications, managing medical emergencies, maintaining health records, and collaborating with school personnel and families to ensure students can safely participate in the educational environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities • Provide nursing assessment and care for students presenting with illness, injury, or health concerns. • Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders, district policy, and state regulations. • Respond to medical emergencies and provide first aid, CPR, and emergency interventions as needed. • Implement student health plans, emergency action plans, and individualized healthcare plans. • Monitor students with chronic health conditions such as diabetes, asthma, seizures, severe allergies, and other medical needs. • Determine when students should return to class, be sent home, or require emergency medical services. • Maintain accurate and confidential student health records and documentation. • Communicate with parents/guardians regarding student illnesses, injuries, and health concerns. • Collaborate with administrators, teachers, counselors, and support staff regarding student health needs. • Follow district policies regarding communicable disease prevention and infection control. • Assist with health screenings as assigned. • Maintain inventory and organization of health office supplies and medications. • Ensure compliance with state laws, district policies, and nursing standards of practice. Qualifications • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in the state of Oklahoma. • Current CPR and First Aid certification. • Ability to assess and respond appropriately to student health needs and emergencies. • Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills. • Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism. • Experience in pediatric, school, public health, emergency, or community nursing preferred. • Pass OSBI background check Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities • Knowledge of pediatric health conditions and school health practices. • Ability to make independent nursing judgments in a fast-paced environment. • Ability to prioritize multiple student needs and emergencies. • Proficiency with electronic health records and district technology systems. • Ability to establish positive working relationships with students, families, and staff. Training Requirement • Required to attend all SSPS substitute employee training(s) and any health clinic-specific training provided by district school nurse(s). • Must demonstrate competency in district health office procedures, emergency response protocols, and student health documentation requirements. Physical Requirements • Ability to lift, move, or assist students as necessary. • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and respond quickly to emergencies. • Ability to perform CPR and emergency medical procedures. Work Environment • School setting serving students from diverse backgrounds and with varying healthcare needs. • Exposure to communicable diseases, bodily fluids, and emergency situations. • May be assigned to elementary, middle, or high school campuses as needed. The Dispatcher / Service Writer is a key role within the Service Department, responsible for coordinating service work, managing technician schedules, and serving as the primary point of contact between customers, technicians, and management.
