Warehouse AssociateJoin Mondelez International/NABISCO as a Warehouse Associate located in Spokane WA to help us drive the future of snacking!As a Warehouse Associate you will participate in the daily activities of our warehouses in a safe way, including but not limited to activities such as truck unloading, putting away, picking, truck loading, stock counting, processing orders, accepting incoming shipments, and oversee the general organization of the warehouse.Responsibilities and duties:Participating in warehouse activities, including truck unloading, stock counting, order processing, and maintaining warehouse organization.Ensuring compliance with procedures and conducting regular safety checks on warehouse equipment to always prioritize safety.Accurately assemble and load products on delivery trucks in a timely manner.Work in warehousing, performing order picking, palletizing, and loading/unloading delivery trucks.Maintain an accurate running inventory.Record, report, and return defective items from previous deliveries.Accept, verify, inspect, and record all incoming deliveries and shipments following company policy.Adhere to safety and quality checks to protect staff and products.Job Specific Requirements:Capable of performing repetitive tasks in a fast-paced work environment and utilizing a Warehouse Management System (SAP EWM).Proficient in various physical activities such as lifting, bending, carrying, pushing, and pulling (maximum of 50 lbs./25kg).Preferably, have experience with forklifts and/or pallet jacks.Possess or able to obtain relevant licenses to operate equipment.Willingness to take on other related duties as assigned.What You'll Need as a Warehouse Associate:Following schedules and instructions from the Foreman or Supervisor for efficient operations.Willingness to be flexible with schedules based on customer demands.Having a general understanding of warehouse operations and practices.Ability to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.Salary and Benefits:• Hourly payrate: $27.10/hour. Responsibilities: • Client Service & Reservations: Manage inquiries, requests, bookings, and ticketing with accuracy and attention to detail, ensuring all travel arrangements meet client expectations. • Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing personalized service to ensure their needs are met at all times. • Timely and Effective Service: Complete all tasks related to client and supplier interactions promptly, ensuring smooth continuity of service for all team members. • Industry Knowledge: Stay updated on airline rules, regulations, and industry standards to make informed travel arrangements and resolve any en-route traveler concerns quickly. • Time Management: Organize and manage workload efficiently, particularly during peak periods, ensuring that all tasks are completed in a timely manner. • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other team members to support and complete all customer service functions. • Reissues & Pricing: Accurately process complex reissues and pricing records, ensuring all details are correct. • Negotiation: Negotiate the best rates and deals with vendors to help clients save on travel expenses. • GDS Management: Ensure all PNR entries in GDS are accurate and fully completed. • Proactive Communication: Respond promptly and efficiently to all communications, keeping clients and team members informed at all times. • Attention to Detail: Consistently demonstrate high attention to detail, ensuring that errors are avoided. • Problem Resolution: Inform supervisors of potential issues and take corrective action when necessary, offering alternative solutions as needed. • Vendor Relations: Build professional relationships with key vendors and support preferred supplier programs. • Training & Development: Participate in company training sessions to stay current with industry trends and best practices. • Error Resolution: Investigate and resolve client complaints and issues while maintaining the highest customer service standards. • Financial Responsibility: Take care to prevent financial losses due to errors or mishandled bookings. • Other Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned. Qualifications: • Experience: At least 5 years of experience in the travel industry or in a 24-hour travel emergency department. • Airfare & Ticketing Knowledge: Strong understanding of airfares, contracted fares, ticket exchanges, and hotel reservations. • GDS Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience with Global Distribution Systems (GDS), with a preference for Galileo proficiency. • Client Experience: Experience managing VIP clients, entertainment clients, and/or group travel. • Organizational Skills: Must be highly organized and able to multitask effectively, especially under pressure. • Independence: Ability to work autonomously and make decisions with minimal supervision. • Flexibility: Ability to work non-traditional hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
