Job Details ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: • Cycle Counting • Data Entry-Keyboarding • Inventory Control Software • Maintain and monitor all inventory levels. • Work with key departments to ensure supplies and stock levels are maintained. PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: • Prolonged sitting • Frequent keyboard work • Reading • Hearing and speaking clearly. • Some moderate lifting of boxes • Walking, standing, reaching, and bending might be required. Specialty Systems Superintendents are responsible for installations, troubleshooting and maintenance through well versed knowledge of the BICSCI Cabling Installation Program, National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET), and National Electrical Code (NEC). MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS Education:Completion of Electronic Systems Technician (EST) Apprenticeship Program (if applicable) Travel: 60-75% Work Schedule:Between the hours of 6 am to 6 pm, Monday through Friday. May vary based on customer demands and can include, but is not limited to: nights, weekends, and holidays. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Supervises the installation of specialty systems (10+ technicians) and/or multiple projects simultaneously, while meeting or beating estimated job costs. • Travels to customer premises to install, troubleshoot, and maintain specialty systems (to include, but not limited to, copper/fiber structured cabling, outside plant, CATV, CCTV, WLAN, fire alarm, access control, security, audio, etc.). • Develops and integrates project schedules with other trades. • Possesses experience with complex and/or technical installations. • Independently develops accounts to widen scope and generates additional revenue through upselling, estimating, pricing, and negotiation. • Performs other related duties as required and assigned. Head Cashier The Head Cashier is a key member of the store team responsible for delivering Best of the WEST customer service while leading the daily operations of the front-end. They provide exceptional customer service, accurately process transactions, and serve as a resource for cashiers by assisting with training, answering questions, and reinforcing company standards. The Head Cashier helps maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked store while supporting daily store operations and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. Duties and Responsibilities: • Support the "Cavender's Culture" and support the company's Mission, Vision, and Values. • Deliver Best of the WEST customer service by greeting every customer, engaging with them throughout their shopping experience, and thanking them for their business. • Accurately and efficiently process customer purchases, returns, exchanges, and other Point of Sale transactions. • Ensure merchandise accuracy by verifying items, checking for boot mis-mates, and following commission validation procedures. • Promote company programs, store promotions, and suggest complementary merchandise to enhance the customer experience. • Provide accurate and courteous responses to customer inquiries in person and over the phone regarding products, pricing, promotions, store locations, and inventory. • Train, coach, and support new and existing cashiers on Point of Sale procedures, cash handling, customer service expectations, and company policies. • Assist store leadership by monitoring front-end operations, answering cashier questions, and helping resolve customer concerns. • Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked sales floor by stocking merchandise, recovering displays, and completing housekeeping tasks, including dusting, mopping, and vacuuming. • Ensure merchandise is properly displayed, signed, stocked, and located according to company standards. • Remain attentive to store safety and security and promptly report concerns to store management. • Report to work on time and maintain a neat, professional appearance. • Understand and follow all company policies and procedures. • Assist with merchandising updates, price changes, special orders, and other assigned store tasks. • Any other duties as assigned. Qualifications and Requirements: • Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced retail environment. • Ability to accurately operate a Point of Sale system and handle cash and electronic transactions. • Ability to train and coach associates while promoting a positive, team-oriented work environment. • Ability to regularly lift, move, and position merchandise throughout the work shift. • Ability to safely use store equipment, including handheld devices, step stools, and dollies, in accordance with company policies. • Certain equipment may only be operated by associates who meet applicable age requirements. • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on the needs of the business. • Ability to comprehend basic instructions, interpret documents, and apply them to daily tasks. • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. • Associate must be able to read and understand English. • Associate must be able to stay alert and productive during assigned work hours.
