The Institute for Advanced Learning and Research is seeking a Prep Cook who loves organization, precision, and setting the kitchen team up for success. If you take pride in clean cuts,labeled containers, and a well-stocked kitchen, this role is for you. Compensation: $12.00 - $14.00 per hr depending on experience. What You'll Be Doing: As a Prep Cook, you'll be the backbone of our kitchen operations, ensuring everything is prepped, stored, and ready for service. • Preparing food items according to production needs and quality standards • Completing prep lists without overproduction or unnecessary waste • Properly labeling, dating, rotating, and storing all food items • Checking pars, completing freezer pulls, and assisting with line setup • Returning unused food items to designated storage areas, covered and dated • Receiving, unpacking, and organizing deliveries from food vendors • Assisting with food cost control through waste reduction and proper usage • Preparing and making ice cream for the Sweet Rose Ice Cream Shop • Maintaining inventory levels and communicating shortages to leadership • Assisting with monthly food audits alongside the Kitchen Manager • Breaking down boxes, removing trash, and maintaining a clean work area • Learning and working with the PMS system for scheduled shifts • Supporting the kitchen team and completing additional tasks as assigned What We're Looking For: • Must be 18 years or older • Minimum 2 years of kitchen or restaurant experience • Strong knife skills and attention to detail • Professional, reliable, and organized • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-driven environment • Reliable transportation required • High school diploma or GED required Key Competencies: • Problem Solving: Identifies issues quickly and finds efficient solutions • Communication: Clearly communicates needs, questions, and updates • Dependability: Consistent, punctual, and accountable • Adaptability: Thrives in changing environments and shifting priorities • Teamwork: Supports others, values feedback, and contributes to a positive kitchen culture Why IALR? Introduction to Role Unique Dental Scheduling is a remote call center. You will have back-to-back calls throughout your entire shift, immediately navigating from one caller to the next to efficiently schedule appointments for our clients. We expect accuracy in appointment scheduling, data entry, and information shared with both patient and client - and we set you up for success with our continuing training and professional development. Calls are measured in accordance with traditional call center statistics. For example, (AHT) your average time spent on a call, (Conversion) how often you are able to schedule a patient, and (Adherence) meeting the minimum time spent on the phones. (IF DENTAL EXPERIENCE): If you have experience with dental or medical, you get to enjoy the patient interaction by assisting them schedule their needed appointments; however, we are unable to give clinical advice over the phone. A strong internet connection is required. Our full-time shift availability includes Monday Friday, mid-day and evenings. We also have part-time flexible schedules available. Our agents' schedules are the same week after week for our employees' convenience and consistency.
